I have been over there for 3 years with no problems.
This afternoon I wanted to post a picture on this forum. Imgur just shows me some cartoons and there is a sign for "Go Ad Free."

Looks like Imgur wants me to pay them some money. This is starting to remind me of Rocky's favorite site, BotoPhucket. And I was on BotoPhucket for 8 years.

Is there another good photo hosting site? If you start to pay Imgur what does it cost?

I tried Imgur some time ago, after the Photobucket fiasco, and within only a few weeks, their free photohosting became a "free trial".. that was up. I have just quit trying any photo hosting. If a website I participate in can't post my photo for me, I just make do without.

What are you doing to resize? I never post pics here because of the hassle required.

Thank you lonny. I signed out and signed right back in and now Imgur works.

I run ubuntu, I can't think of the name of the program right now but it has an option to resize, takes about two steps no big deal.

From shortly after I logged onto Photobucket circa 2002 to the present I've had a paid subscription to Photobucket. When they switched to having to have a subscription, I did not miss a lick nor lose an image. I do not care for it's current iteration, but I have 20K photos there. From the time I registered at IMGUR, I have had a paid subscription there as well as to Coil.
I believe in remuneration for value received.
Nothing in this world if free and if a business does not make a profit, it will fail.

So far, so good with Imgur.

I've been having issues with Imgur for a few weeks now. I was just there a few minutes ago and all of my photos seem to be blacked out or are gone. For the others posting above that Imgur is working fine for them with a link to their photo, this is what I see:

Don't need any of that crap on plenty of other sites. Luddite that I am, I managed to post a pic on Snipershide the other day. Of course, lots of guys here say Snipershide sucks, so, there's that...............but at least I don't have to jack with and pay for some damn image hosting site to post pics over there!

Don't get me wrong, I love the fire, would really love to post pics, but never will as long as I've got to photobucket/imgur,/wft ever..........

Yep. Works fine on my computer, too. Just a phone is a problem.
