Men are nearly always blamed by LEOs and charged in "domestic disputes" aka family violence.
Around here it's because many the women make their rounds with the departments. One of the perks of being a LEO. The cheap loose gals like the uniforms I think.

I can't speak to the other areas nor put everyone in that category, but its common here.

A few magistrates and family courts used to be similar in charging men even if they were harmed but the women nothing but teary eyed. Violence against men is far more common than commonly known.

Lost a good friend to a crazy bitch last year. She decided she wanted out, and took him with her. He had some seriously bad taste in women. One of his ex-wives is in prison for being part of another murder. That one was the one I expected to take him out, but he got loose from her. The one that killed him was new, I hadn’t met her. Glad she offed herself. Saved me the trouble.

Reminds me of the time when we had a neighbor who had a late night visitor that would tear out on my private road with a very loud car. After being annoyed and awakened repeatedly another neighbor was ready for the midnight visitor. He chased him down the road in his own vehicle and got a plate # and reported it to the police. Turns out our female neighbor, whose husband worked nights, was being visited by an off duty local cop. The midnight visits and burn-outs stopped but the neighbor who got the plate # was lectured about the dangers of chasing after and following vehicles.

Beav , for the first 3/4 of my life a gave very little concern for the law.... I followed the rules. was honest and contributed more than I took.
Then I got involved with a devil woman and holy crap, I learned a few things. A good lawyer and removing myself from the situation ASAP. That was 20+ plus years ago.

Now at my stage of life I have found lawyers a necessary evil, I don't believe I have changed, I believe society has changed and good people are at risk these days.
I joked in the Miss Lynn fiasco about having a lawyer on retainer.... it's not a joke anymore... I deal with them often. WTF?
