Britain's ridiculous anti-knife crusade.
The template for the USA.
Brilliant, thanks for posting it.
I was passing thru London more than 15 years ago and picked up the Times to read on the plane. Some twit editorial was pushing for "knife registration" then.

In Picadilly Circus (heart of London) , I asked directions from 7 people before I found who could or would speak English to me.. Curiously enough, he was the only white guy....

Guess they don't need registration after all- just ban knives or whatever and seize them as found.

That will work. Well, it would work better if they were all registered.....

It's where we are headed.

"We're from the Government. We are here to help you....."

Say, has anyone ever seen a spoon wound? Sharpen that handle, and you are good to go.

Better fix that ASAP, Brits.

How many blunt instrument deaths in London, compared to knives? Or stranglings, punching, etc with fists?
Bubble wrap coming soon to a city near you....Big Brother, keep us safe.
I just wonder how the Brits figure on getting by on a practical level. Doing without knives is not easy.

How does one prepare food?
How does one eat food?
How do you open packages?
How do you navigate a shrink wrapped pallet?
How do you perform surgery?
How do you butcher?
How do you gut fish?
How do cut rope?

I'm an office puke who lives in suburbs during the week. I carry 3 knives. I use them all in the course of a day. I did a quick think and I can remember using all 3 yesterday and pulled one or the other out at least a dozen times.
England and Europe has some weird knife laws.
Can't remember what laws where, but these...

No locking blade, no ability to open one handed.

One handed opening isnt limited to automatics either.
Thumb studs, flippers and holes to allow thumb opening are
banned also.
The only time one can possess one is going to or from a job, or on
the job that would require the ability to open and close an knife
to perform your duties.

Also, knife points are banned. There are knives made with a circular
end to meet the laws.

Spyderco actually makes England versions of a few of their knives.
What I find interesting is that the "ban for public safety" crap all came in to vogue when governments started importing ethnics from shitholes.

Whites are not the problem.

Added...want to stop the rot, get rid of the filth.

And before some whinging lefty cunt starts bitching at me, yes I am aware that there are decent ethnics...but to a man they stick with and protect their own no matter what the cost.

Answer...get rid of them all.

So I hear. Always wondered if files and God forbid, angle grinders are banned too?
The knife laws fly under the radar for most. Take a look at the state laws on knifes and you will find that they follow the pistol ccw laws with a length and point design additions. You can cop a felony with a neck knife with a point that is sharpened on three sides.

This is exactly the point Steyn makes in numerous other videos.
Whatever. Just never bring a knife to a gunfight. Happy Trails

Yep.
Got a concealed permit, $20 and background, had it 30 years now.
G19 15 rounds ready.
Legal.

An automatic or blade too long and I'm a criminal.

That makes sense, somehow?
