Gonna be a lot of loud cars and motorcycles around.
Unfortunate that I dropped mine overboard when I was fishing....
They'll never give up the revenue from the $200 tax stamp. It's just political grand standing.
What’s a silencer?

I dunno what’s money when the printing presses are running hot and heavy!?

I think these folks are happy to ban as much stuff people like us like as they possibly can.

Of course they won't, they just shift the tax to something else to make up for the lost revenue.
They will ban them if they can. They actually probably believe they do make the gun silent and they are terrified of being assassinated.

They would give up the $200 in a heartbeat just to jab you in the eye.
“Cosponsors include Democratic Sens. Dianne Feinstein of California, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, Cory Booker of New Jersey, Ed Markey of Massachusetts, and Alex Padilla of California.“

Not ONE name, or location that surprises me! LIEberal Commies, EACH AND EVERY ONE!

It’s getting to be time to heat up the roofing tar, and break open some down pillows!
once again more proof that it's NOT about saving a child, it's not about stopping gun violence. IT'S ALL ABOUT CONTROL over US and nothing more.

Have they banned Coke yet? Prolly a good place to start.

Fuggin idiots.
Just so you guys know, I'm from New Jersey, both of Bonnie Watson's Coleman's sons were convicted of armed robbery, they both got 5 years, they should have gotten 10 according to sentencing guidelines! Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

They'll use it as a bargaining chip. They're rotten to the core.
WhereTF was the GOP congress the first two years of the Trump administration?

Supressors sould be an over the counter item now.

Same place the anti-gun liers have always been, sticking it to the serfs that elected them by doing nothing

I agree that suppressors should not be an NFA item. whistle

Most of those retards would crap down both legs if you fired a suppressed weapon near them....

Then they would run up and ask why yours was "broke" because it didn't go "pfft.." like it does in the James Bond movies. crazy
Rooftop Defense included a copy of the Constitution with my recent order. I was surprised at how simple and clear Amendment II is.

"A well regulated Milita, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
For the Us Government, taxation is never really about revenue. It's about control. They are not the least bit worried about losing the tiny bit of revenue they get from the handful of people that buy silencers.

I think this is exactly how it is now. Taxation WAS a way for government to raise money. The government no longer needs money to spend money, they simply print it. Now taxation is used to control how people behave and how they spend their money. Little Mikey Bloomberg is the expert in this area of government control.
They want to control every move we make, every thing we own.
Most of my hearing loss is due to firing loud firearms without wearing ear protection. If I could afford it and could find somebody that will sell me suppressors without me having a suppressor permit I would have a suppressor on almost every firearm I own.

THIS!

You can buy suppressors OTC in many countries American shooters think have very repressive gun laws. I've traveled to hunt quite a bit, and suppressors are simply considered practical--and good manners if you're hunting near towns. SAnd you can usually buy them for less than the U.S. tax.
I've never bought one, just cannot stomach the price tag and the red tape. I think they're practical, but I just keep running earplugs.

Same here. Way too much money, way too much hassle.
The democrats are making hay while the sun is shining. They are going to do everything they can to keep themselves in power and control until someone cries uncle.

Outlaw suppressors, pack the courts, control the votes. They want to Californicate every thing and every body. Nansty nancy and cryin' chucky schumer want it all.

kwg
My hearing is pretty bad, I would buy one in heartbeat, I live in New Jersey and can't have one. I would like to know how many crimes have been committed with suppressed firearms?

Hey don’t bring Stan V into this laugh

Seriously thanks for this
They ban whatever they can get away with.
They ban silencers, not because of their moral indignation over crimes.
They commit crimes as a job requirement!
They would ban gun owners if and when they can
They would kill every last one if they thought it would have no risk and leave them with all of the weapons.

Am I right, or is this just another "conspiracy theory?"

No problem, they can just print money, which they are already doing!

Dang near required.
They are going to ban oil filters?
The level of recoil reduction coupled loss of blast is so amazing. You will never want to shoot uncorked again.

Cost and hassle? Takes all of 5 minutes or so to do the paperwork. I've got boots that cost as much as my suppressors. If you can afford a couple of guns, you can afford a suppressor. Once you use one, you won't ever want to go back. I can't even remember the last time I shot one of my 22lr pistols or rifles that aren't threaded.
So what you think mass shooting, or a cop shot with a suppressed weapon within the week??? Come on we got to have a "coincidence" pop up to justify this bull.

Why would you need a suppressor? Unless you have a firearm ah might as well get their fingerprints too. Hmm another person for the list of undesirables. Hmmm.

What red tape, had my paperwork and photo done in about 15minutes. Only thing that sucked was the 6 month wait.

Tell that to the bank when they cancel your account and call in your mortgage if you have one.
