Hi, I have an older 1952 farmall super C tractor. My transmission fluid is a little low, what do you guys use? It has the thick oil type, not the thin hydraulic fluid kind.
Thanks, Mike

A lot of those old tractor transmissions used 90 weight.

80-140 or 90 wt. look to be what most use.

80-140 is what my friend uses. He restores them.

I had a Super C that I cultivated tobacco with, but I don't think I had to ever add oil to the transmission.

Yes to the thick oil.

You should get a manual.

Years ago we stopped using 80 90 in transmissions.

Had better luck with 50 wt.
