I don't see how your comment is relevant regarding the courage shown at Rorke's Drift, but perhaps you should do some research into the War of Independence, you might find it surprising...

Here's an interesting fact about the battle. It had the highest kill to cartridge expenditure ratio of any battle in history. Well disciplined volley fire, combined with massed Zulu charges and the penetration ability of that big 577/450 pill, sure as hell piled them up.
