Swordfish is really good eating. That looks great ! Man I wished my body could hold up to offshore fishing ! My back wouldn’t last an hour unfortunately. Night dropping for swords in the stream would be cool !

these were given to us by the guys we fished with, in Islamorada, they caught 3 a couple days after we fished with them, biggest 195.

Hundreds, maybe more? We rode our bikes 7-10 miles every weekend, both days, sometimes on Wed during holiday weeks and most times brought home limits of 5 (or more? wink ). Best friend's dad would buy the Velvetta, mini mallows, and Pautzke's eggs for us, as they had 9 kids to feed. We only had five.

But, I've also caught and eaten many (hundreds?) of wild trout (oh, the horror) and I do like them better.

But, without the enjoyment of catching all those stockers, I may not have gotten hooked on fishing.

They aren't the best eating though, same same with the farmed Atlantic salmon. Don't hold a candle to wild caught.

Had to take Sunday off, lol

Beside the pickins last night, never took a chance to eat anything.

Slept 9 hours

rainy day here, and got about 10lbs of pulled porky left after fixing up the neighbors and in-laws with some sammys

Renegade chewed the bark off of one. πŸ˜‚ But he also stopped and got some buns so I wouldnt have to leave the fire

Probably freeze 1/2 of what’s left. It’ll freeze and keep for about a month.

I bought a couple of fresh Sword Fish fillets (steaks?) off the truck that had just returned from down south to stock up their seafood store/restaurant in Fargo, ND, looked up a recipe online and grilled them. I can't remember better tasting fish. The wife and I hoovered those things down like we were starving to death. lol
