With a little knowledge, one can work the system. An older sister used to work for Social Security. She said many of the claimants standing in line were more capable advisors than their own councilors and then willing advised the newbies on the forms and procedures needed for milking the system.

My cousin lived in his foreclosed house for about six years. Then he bought it back from the bank for about half of what he owed in principal, missed payments, and interest. Final raisin in his cookie was when he went to pay the $8000 property tax bill, he found out the bank had paid it just before the sale.

I am surprised to see a Sikh deadbeat. They have a reputation as fierce warriors and hard workers. I used to run into some of them as CDL drivers out in Texas, they always wore that big turban. This deadbeat guy has a mediocre turban compared to the Sikhs I saw.

I looked this house up on zillow. It is rated as worth $400K today. Comparing to nearby houses it should be worth $600K but then, this house has "problems."
