If your screen goes out or does not respond you need to replace the screen.

The wife's went un-responsive a while ago and we just got the new one without the gel in it to go back in.

Be ready to watch a lot of youtube and try to keep track of the type of screws that go in various places.

We gut got done putting her screen in the assembly that comes out of the dash board and only have 3 screws left over.
This after putting it together and taking it apart 5 or 6 times.

Whoever thought of this system should be shot.
They already have a class action suit over the screen problem.

Tomorrow will be the big day for the plug in to see if it works.


Then if it passes i get to try to put all of the trim pieces back on the console.

I am close to just taking it to the dealer if this thing won't work.

Wished i still drank Gin it would have been more fun.

Another case where the engineers who design stuff are never required to actually work on their own inventions. They don't know how much money and frustration the public goes through trying to fix their crap.

you couldn't give me a Cadillac.... electronics is not GM's strong suite.. and then the cars are probably assembled in Mexico, where GM pays workers $3 an hour in a supervisory position....
