As you can see it was shooting low at 100 yards with this load next range trip I will make the necessary adjustments up this load will be my 100 yard reduced match load for NRA/CMP high power matches. The rifle is currently zeroed for 77-80’s

Not an AR, I don’t really shoot them much. My best group, 300 Win mag. .082 I believe. 100 yards, only 3 shots.

This one came in five shots .434 center to center at 100 meters or 109 yards. My custom AR with a D-Tech match upper rifle was brand new, first and only range session. shot this after zero . Been hunting with it ever since.

No I was aiming for the orange circle it’s shooting that load low.. I usually shoot 77’s out of it. I also had that scope/setup on another AR.

a) I have two ARs that shoot 1.1" (5) shot groups at 100 yards.

b) I have built a few bolt action 223s that shoot 0.5" (5) shot groups at 100 yards.


The difference is the reamers:
a) NATO reamer at some factory with a throat too long to reach.
b) custom Manson 0.250" neck 0.050" short throat

California LOL but 10 rounds is enough for killing Coyote per stand. If I fire 10 rounds on a stand it's either a really good stand or I can't shoot worth a fuqk. When I hunt Nevada, I use what ever mags I want
