Sam; Thanks for the video and the weather update contained therein.
The last year we were on the farm '83 I guess it was, the worst snowstorm of the winter was May 8th.
It started around 7:30 or so and by 9:00, I was off the field as I couldn't see where I'd been with the 60' deep tillage cultivator as it was snowing too hard. By noon there were banks 3' high in the yard.
I remember that as I went home for lunch that day, which was a rare thing during spring.
My good wife and I had a coffee and I says to her, "If this farming thing doesn't work out, we should move to southern BC. It's likely past cherry blossom time already and you can get a sun burn out in your short sleeved shirt by now."
Anyways as you know Sam, farming didn't work out, we did move west and the rest is history as they say.
I hope your weather warms up before the Heineken runs out Sam. All the best to you all.
This mega drought was caused by global warming and we need to send Al Gore some more money to stop it. Al said Polar bears are going to go extinct in Montana if we all don't start driving electric cars and eat more tofu.
Jealous! Man we could use a shot of rain up here. We just barely missed that one. Have not had any moisture since last September. About ready to park this thing and have a whiskey myself.
Haha alright I’ll road her down. Probably have to wear my neck brace. These damn tracks are rough on roads. Pretty decent in the field tho. It has seemed that in recent years. I get on here and start b**ching and pretty soon we get a little shot. We only grow durum up here. We are sitting on a pretty good amount but seems like wheat is hotter. I think the price is about the same right now, where as durum usually holds a premium. I’m down in that wolf point area some now since my fiancée from there. Will have to swing in some time and have a beer.
Oh no that is bad news. Wonder what kind of deal that was? Think it was anhydrous? It’s Hannah Hafner. Bill and Shelly Zahradka are her parents. Hannah is a chiropractor in plenrywood now she worked in a scobey with Lund for couple years.

C, I know Bill and Shelly, Hannah is a lot younger than me so I don't know her but you are the lucky one, congrats!
Bill Z is our go to for any electrical questions. Great dude..
Wave at Shelly almost everyday on the highway. They live a few miles down the road from my folks....
And any time I shoot a decent furred up coyote I give Bill a ring and he picks it up.
That man is hell on fricken yotrs....lol
Ask him about the time I put a frozen yote on the top of a stack of round bales. The next morning I found a skinned version in it's place. Right off the highway, Sunday morning, I had to take it down before the church crowd drove by....
The liquor store may be closed...but the Mint is always open.
Seriously....I have never seen it closed.
It's been a few years, and I could be misremembering, but I believe I have shopped for likka on a Sunday in westbygodvirginia..........at the very least, they were open till 10 pm the other 6 days of the week.
