Its a girl, my lord, in a flatbed Ford......................................
The third one from the right. She didn't say maybe.
I wonder how this photo would be if taken 5 min later.

The shadows would be slightly different.

My old man wanted get his picture taken there.
So he did.
Thought we were gonna have RainMan 4 mins to Wapner meltdown.
Gawd. Easy bucket list item.
Two Whoppers, a vanilla cone kept his yapper stuffed for the next 75 miles.

The building burned a few years ago, it's kinda like a storefront now
I had a rough night and I hate the fugging Eagles, man.
Been to that corner. miles

The same, it's a permanent feature just like the flatbed truck, always there.
Remember years back ScottF posted one of him standing there.

Not mine, I’m fully aware of the song penned by Jackson Browne and Glen Frey that the Eagles made iconic. I just don’t see what’s "To see" in that photo. Maybe you could enlighten me....
Yep, been there. Did the picture thing. Kinda cool.
In my earlier years after going to NAU in Flagstaff, (in the 70's) I worked for SantaFe Railroad, stationed out of Seligman AZ I worked several jobs out of the Winslow train depot.
It wasn't iconic then. Amazing how a popular song can make a difference. But not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for in this pic?

Yeah there isn't anything there to "get", it's so obvious.
“There’s a girl my Lord in a flat bed truck slowing down to take a look at me”.
Some folks need to learn the difference between a "Flatbed" and "Stake Box".
Ain't much to look at in Winslow. But you would be amazed at how many tourists stop there, especially in the summer. Seligman is the same, bus fulls of Asians and Germans mostly.
Funny to watch them continue take the pics with a drunk native passed out in the background.
