Notice how these college students are utterly unable to follow the logic and make a rational decision.

Remarkable.

Again, It's over...
Left coasters........they're all the same.
The world is jacked up as a soup sandwich.

You are correct, we've been outplayed.
Those kids have been seriously brain-worsched.
That’s some serious shiit there .
Stupid as hell , but serious .

Given the behavior of those students, the University of Washington comes across as a weak joke of a school.
They can no longer differentiate between fantasy and reality. Brainwashing is a funny thing.

Sooner or later, reality is gonna go upside their heads with a piece of rebar.
Our tax dollars hard at work
Now..... After approximately 5 decades of the "dumbing down" of America, we are seeing that crap coming to fruition in our voting populace and the future of this country. Welcome to the great society, folks.
Edited to cherry-pick the responses that best support his agenda... even at that, it was obvious some of those kids thought his questions were nuts, but just didn’t want to offend. The truth is, it has forever been possible to find pockets of stupidity on college campuses and this does not signal the end of the world. In the end, it’s just another dog-whistle YouTube video.
Now go out on to a job site or to a work place and ask the same question to the same age person paying their own bills . Unfortunately most college folks are a low hanging fruit for the brainwashed and politically correct useful idiots. You wont get that same response where I went to college either. I went to a school that promoted entrepreneurs and free market policy and politics.

So worried to offend they would rather just lie. Possibly even worried about retaliation from the politically correct student patrol on campus.

Worried about getting kicked out, even though their job prospects are dim once they "graduate".

Quite possibly as you propose, but can't know about cherry-picking unless you did the work. What you see there properly may be obvious to you, but your assumption that they simply do not wish to "offend" is an interesting take. You may be seeing politeness where, instead, there is nonplussed confusion when confronted with challenging questions. Others here may rightfully may be disturbed with the vapid and obtuse nature of those "university" students.
