... tschidt has got to end. If you can't open your doors, give it up. (Not talking about street vendors and the like - just the places that have inside seating, but have found it much more convenient and profitable for them to not make it available for the convenience of their customers.)
Most of them are claiming they can’t find employees.
Too many got used to all the .Gov extra Unemployment Pay.

More evidence that the “Pandemic” was meant to take down Trump’s Economy.
Don't care for picking up a doggy bag and paying full price. Part of dining out is someone else has to serve and clean so I don't have to.
Ain't gonna end soon. Just saw a letter from IRS. They're sending monthly advances on the child tax credit unless you follow forthcoming instructions on unenrolling. Ain't no baby momma who never pays taxes anyway gonna unenroll.
All the restaurants here have inside dining again now except for Chick-Fil-A and Arby’s.
Not a problem here.

Good luck.

I guess Chik-Fil-A is too Christian to open their door.

LOL
Went to the license bureau to change a registration today. They close at 2 pm now instead of 5. I don’t understand all the shortened hours at gov’t services???
i never go inside fast food places so no difference in my occasional arbys dining experience. it does seem like the order is ready really quick these days. plus they're advertising 14 bucks an hour to start.

Guess how long before that #7 roast beef combo meal goes up to $12.99.

Me either.
The chic joint in lubbock has indoor.

My Grand daughter works at one and they have had it for several weeks.

One day i need to go by and try a sandwich.
the 2fer6 is a deal. two big old gyros or beef sammies for 6 bucks. hold the fries and bring my own faygo to drink.

Don’t they have several in Lubbock now ?
When young son was in Grad School in Lubbock went into a whataburger for breakfast and found some homeless homie lathered up and soapy in the restroom! Looked like one of the Golddust Twins! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Follow the money".
Casper WY today at noon, Perkins Restaurant fully open and booming business, had to wait a few minutes to get seated. No masks.
Every fast food joint and sit-down restaurant here has a "Now Hiring" sign out. The places that have opened for dine-in are all short-staffed with long wait times to be served. Every time I've asked about why the lobby isn't open, I've been told "Can't get enough help."

Utah is set to end the "Scamdemic Unemployment Bonus" next week. I bet when the money stops flowing, those jobs will get filled.
All our eating joints are open for sit down. Have been for months.

Is that like a Denny’s ?
It must suck to live in Minnie-Soda. Florida is pretty much wide open.
The Mickey D's here in town is driveup only, when I asked what was going on, one of my customers in the know said "We can barely scrape enough people together to man the drive thru's"

KC
It will end as soon as people begin to organized, quit being cowards, uphold their Bill of Rights, disobey the tyrants and simply end it.

But if you think the socialist and Satanists government who instituted these non-laws is going to do good things for you, you would be like a German Jew in 1943 asking the Nazis for help.

It's not about health and there is NO evidence at all that it is. It's about shock testing the population to see if they are cowardly enough to obey in mass.

So far the Communists and Satanists have been right. Most American simply "bent over" when ordered to.

I suspect that, too. I've been a semi regular at Panda Express for a few years. After the COVID restrictions started, they shut down both inside and outside seating (they have concrete tables and benches outside). Only drive through. Only recently have they started permitting eating in the dining room and outside again. But I bet they loved drive through only, because they didn't have to hire people to clean up or deal with the garbage.

DMV here is doing near all business via mail. Paper work for son's car was routed out last Dec. No tags, registration, or title to date. Enforcement folks say they're no longer requesting such.

A lot of restaurants with a drive through have donated to bolsheviks.

Went to Panda a few days ago

They are open inside but they don’t really want guests inside. They crank the air conditioner down to 45 fuggin degrees.

Bust up in there with shorts and a wife beater. Nope

Ate it outside

I usually get the Giant 1/2 lb Roast Beef Combo and add a slice of big eye Swiss cheese with small fries and drink. Frickin $10.95 with tax nowadays.
Slummy rollin' up on Panda 'Spress like Kid Rock at a BBQ

Yep. They’re egg rolls suck. Used to be a great Mom & Pop Chinese joint here that had killer egg rolls for a buck a piece.
The couple retired and their lazy ass kids were too damn lazy to take over the business. Mom & Pop barely spoke English. Guess their kids were born and raised here.
Sad to see it go. I’d been eating there for nelly 30 years. I’d walk in and the lady would see me and have my order waiting at the cash register in 3 minutes without speaking a word.

Gonna check it out.

Any hot looking asian honey babies in the place???

LOL!!!
Ruby Tuesdays used to have good spring rolls. Southwest Springrolls. Had black beans and something else in them.

Was decent, 2 minis, fries, bring my own faygo...get the SS rolls for appetizers

And then....it got nasty, dining room started smelling like baby puke, they quit cleaning the carpet, it got ‘groidy’ and then they cancelled the southwest spring rolls off of the menu.

Piss on that place.

Have you or renegade ever been to a restaurant?

LOL

You two could make a groid blush.
I went to a nice joint on Prom night.

I got the ribs
Start your own business and compete with those slackers. Seems like a great way to get rich if everyone agrees with you

In Minnesoduh?

LOL
The Fake “Pandemic” killed most of the Mom and Pop restaurants here. Not near as many choices when it comes to eating out.

Yes about 4 or 5.

I guess it just depends on what state you live in if they are open or not.

Panda Express.....those red peppers can pack a bit of heat, sometimes.

Think theyre in the Beijing Beef.

Shorty likes the orange chicken big time.
Had one near campus when she and sis both away at college. Got one close to home now.

Aint nothing as good as thw beef cabbage stuff my local Chinaman had in his hole in the wall diner. He expanded and did buffet.....i just piled that beef/ cabbage stuff.

It was great.

Nice fam too. Retired/ sold. Never was as good.
My kid boss eats like 3 meals at work per shift.
Still skinny.

Got some packaged ribs from store, smelled good, said they were. I snagged a couple packs yesterday.
Try when i get off work.

Really rather eat at home. People have gotten rude and stupid since the scamdemic and Id just as soon avoid em.
Buddy who has franchised several fast food restaurants said they may never reopen dine in service. The numbers don't make sense.

Dude you need to get a little more. It's life as usual here in Laramie. Never had to bend over once during all this BS.
Guess the wait on the license draw has you bent out of shape. 17th will be here soon enough.

While I agree with you overall, part of the reason they're not open for in-house dining is because they can't find servers and/or cleaning people that wanna work..

The people have had enough of this China flu BS. The restaurant's in south Florida that are still pushing the covid-19 restrictions are hurting. If the government would just get the he'll out of the way business will thrive.

I think certain locations like that narrative because it saves them money.

The Bologna virus gave all types of places all types of excuses to change things.

I’ve had the opposite experience but I mostly eat at the golf course and Uncle Al’s. LOL

agree alot of this is about saving money......less employees....less cleaning supplies.....less cleaning ....less labor...etc...

less hassle.....so they are making more money with less overhead.....smart move....bob
Everything here is back to normal.
I highly recommend that people push back whenever they can. It’s a pain but it does make a difference.

Managers don’t like to deal with complaints.
It's 2019 here mostly. See some people wearing masks from time to time but no one pays any attention. Certainly not required.

I live in a small town. 2 new bar/restaurants are opening - want to open. Can't find workers. There's some truth to that. My old company has something like 30 open rec's for new employees - starting at 50k a year - no applications, no degree required - they'll train.

I think it’s more a problem in rural areas than urban.

Seems that way, at least.

As a matter of fact it is. https://bananaboatboynton.com/menu/appetizers/
In Stuart, FL Toojay's restaurant is struggling and the Key West dinner is wide open, same can be said for Sonny's bbq struggling, Southern Pig and Cattle wide open. I'm not smart enough to baffle people with BS.

Not a narrative - places EVERYWHERE are begging to hire people and they're getting bupkis... Our friends have a large restaurant/bar grill/event center and after this BS mask thing went away and they were allowed to open again, they had a helluva time trying to get their servers back.. They were getting all this "free" govt money and were making more sitting on their butts than by working.. A restaurant in another town SW of me closed their doors because they could not find cooks/chefs to work or servers to wait on tables.. The owner finally slammed the doors shut - sayin' he wasn't gonna do every job himself.. I don't blame him..

I see "FOR HIRE" signs everywhere around here - many with starting pay around $17/hr or up to $26/hr - and STILL can't get people to sign up..
in Florida, the extra 'rona unemployment ends June 30th. There will be thousands of folks looking to take their old jobs back. The extended and supplementary unemployment benefits were designed to further damage business, not to help those mythical unemployed folks.

That sucks.

I no longer spend money at places that aren't fully open, but there is a legitimate staffing disaster. Fast food restaurants are offering $500 bonuses if you get hired. There are signs in town that announce they are now hiring 15 year olds. It's insanity.

They have 6 here now (I believe). One of them is supposedly the busiest store in their company.

Everything here is back to normal and fully open. Even the Chick Fila's are fully open dining rooms. Our restaurants seem more busy than ever.

That's what George Floyd said.
I've got to hand it to some enterprising types up north. They have been making out like a burglar during the Covid crap. They have an old converted turn of the century mogul house where they served gourmet meals to about 10 tables on the weekend. Covid hit and no more inside dining. Then and now they take orders and cook those same gourmet meals all week in a more relaxed atmosphere, package them up for carry out and serve anyone with the price of a meal and a place to reheat something. They just bought a new panel truck to service another vacation place west of there.

Well hell if were talking NE WI Pierce, Great Northern Corp, and Miller electric have big old signs out in front of them that say they're hiring. All of these places are within a 5 mile radius of each other. When I was coming up, yo had to be related to someone that worked there to get in any time soon. It's an excellent time to be looking for a job.

Problem?

What are you talking about? What problem?

"insanity"?

When I was sixteen, I worked at Wendy's. Your concerns are well founded. When you have teenagers flipping burgers and handling food, you don't know how it's been handled by the time it gets to you. I saw burgers accidentally dropped on the floor, picked up, and put right back on the grill.

I see now. No I have absolutely no problem with 15 year olds working, I got my first paying job when I was 14. The insanity part was that these places are offering cash and hiring younger kids and still can't get people to work.
