I read the article and it is not something I would care to attempt.
You just can’t fix stupid.

Well you can, it's just permanent.

If he had gone just a tad more left he would have given it a fair shake though.

Didn't take long before politics entered the comment section.

With 12 vehicles backed up.
Looks like another Griswold family vacation...…..grin
COME ON, MAN!!!
Any one who has spent any time in the mountain west knows the warnings sign "No Large RV's" refer to any RV 2" longer than whatever you are driving. Not to you!
Double sheesh!
Beautiful country there.

I like how the article begins with this line:
"Driver failed to negotiate a corner on narrow alpine road"
As if he hadn't already failed to negotiate the rules of common sense, by being on that road with that rig to begin with.
Was the RV a rental, or had the driver “experience” behind the wheel?
Please don't. Campgrounds out here, and we are out there, are full every night from the first of April to mid November. Couple years back, we were somewhat busy form Memorial to Labor Day.
I always think of Needles Highway in South Dakota when I see things like this.

Looks like a step up from the Breaking Bad meth-wagon.
DANG! They cut it off before the rocks all rolled to the back of the trailer. That was the good part.
Drive through the tunnels on WA14 along the Columbia River. Look up as you go through them. They're all well marked for clearance but can see lots of drag marks about 12 to 13' up.
