You can still pull up articles defending her Afro dialect English which was hardly any known language except maybe in a Florida Negro underclass. One White lady was bemoaning the education system failing the poor girl. I believe she was about 18 or 19 trying to get through the 11th grade. Let a hillbilly get on TV and butcher the language a little and it would be a different story. His ignorance would derided, mocked, and made fun of. Probably be called a Trump supporter, and that would not be a compliment

You’re correct. Grammar, spelling, math, science; pretty much anything that can be graded. Grades too of course. No doubt kids from schitty ghetto schools are at a disadvantage when it comes to all that, but what happens to them when they go into the world and can’t communicate, cipher, etc? They fail naturally, but our lopsided system makes it very hard for employers to hire only qualified people, so they end up “carrying” employees that aren’t up to snuff at tremendous expense. Betcherass the Chinese, Japanese, Koreans and other successful economies ain’t suffering from that disadvantage.
The solution is to improve the schools, fire crap teachers, and provide extra help to kids that need it, but most of that runs against the notions of the teachers’ unions who think the way to fix education is to pay them more🤪.
So, first it is declared elitist here at the fire, and now it is declared racist by academia. What will be the next attack upon it, and from where will it come?

As a sidenote, my GGGrandfather was removed from the Texas House of Representative (11th Legislative session) along with others, by Federal troops (Gen. Phil Sheridan) in 1866 after being duly elected by his constituents. All because they were doing their job as were the wishes of their constituents.
Horsecrap, professor. "Being white", is no different than being anything else. They are defining success, as white. Success is possible no matter what your race, but you can't always do it YOUR way, no matter what your race is, as well. White, my horse's patootie...

I watched an interview during which Dr. Walter E. Williams said he was glad he received his education before it was fashionable for white people to like black people. If there was an A on his transcript he earned it.

Plus, we all can start making up our own words to describe things that have had common- whiteness names. Like money. We can now call money a “Loaf” or making an income “Maken Ends”
Hell, we already know how to spell “Phat Ass”.
Reduce everything to the lowest uncommon denominator.

A day or so ago I posted to this thread and announced I needed to go check my white privilege. At first I wasn't sure where to look so I went behind the couch, in my truck, under stuff. Nope.
