Her father has been exploiting Britney since she was a little girl. Britney’s father is her life long abuser not her guardian. She was a child when she was put into show business by her father. Few children can come away from the Disney devil mouse unscathed. Of course Britney had a mental breakdown and is completely mentally damaged but allowing her abuser to continue to abuse her is sick.

She would join Whitney Houston in about 6 weeks. Her Father is protecting her from the (((industry leeches))) who would fleece her clean in no time and leave her in the gutter with druggie 'friends' to finish her off.

Col. Parker was a stolen name - he was a Dutch immigrant who went AWOL from the U.S. Army and STOLE his interrogating officers name. Elvis never left America (aside from a couple early Canada gigs) on tour because Col. Parker was afraid that he'd be stopped at the border coming back in and arrested/deported.

But her POS father and the bottom feeding lawyers ain’t making it any better by freeloading off her work. No good solution at this point for her, but there ought to be the mother of all cleanups in the entertainment industry before more kids are sent down that path. Be nice if she could get an honest manager, lawyer, and whoever else she needed. Britney Spears' professional co-conservator files to resign after explosive testimony
Bessemer Trust filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court asking to be removed from its position as co-conservator with her father, Jamie Spears.
July 1, 2021, 6:57 PM CDT / Updated July 1, 2021, 7:42 PM CDT
By Doha Madani and Diana Dasrath

The professional co-conservator for Britney Spears’ estate filed a petition to resign Thursday following the pop star’s explosive testimony last week in which she called the situation abusive.

Bessemer Trust filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court asking to be removed from its position as co-conservator with her father, James “Jamie” Spears. The financial institution cited Britney Spears’ desire to end the conservatorship during her June 23 testimony in its decision to step away from its role.

In the petition, Bessemer said it entered into the conservatorship because it "relied on the representations of the parties that the ongoing Conservatorship was voluntary." But now Bessemer is aware that Britney Spears "objects to the continuance of her Conservatorship and desires to terminate the Conservatorship" and the company respects her wishes, the filing said.

Exactly. She is most likely bi-polar and I know bi-polar people that have custody of their kids and their money, all of them are on medication. She needs a different lawyer and her father needs to stay the f out of her business. She should be able to see her kids .
Posted By: high_country_ Re: Britney - 07/02/21
Its one thing to not have custody of her kids, but the world is filled with folks far more out there than Britney Spears and they manage to have custody of their lives.

Is it for the kids? If she lost it all, dad is still loaded. Is it because she might hurt herself? She could off herself any time.

This smells like a rat. She is literally a slave to her owner. She even said she'd be ok being a slave to a different owner, just not her dad. Obviously dad has been to funky town with her and needs to keep her discredited to keep him out of bill cosby status.

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/h...atorship-cost-britney-spears-11624654464

Quote

...Documents reviewed by Forbes revealed that Jamie Spears has been paid at least $5 million since the start of the conservatorship in 2008. A year later, according to Forbes, Spears started to make monthly $16,000 payments to her father. Those, over 12 years, have added up to $2.4 million.

Spears alleged that her father often forced her to do things she didn’t want to do, threatening to block her access to her money if she didn’t follow his rules. And she said restrictions were placed on her, including that she wasn’t allowed to carry her own credit card, was forced to use an IUD despite wanting to have another baby, and she had to participate in various rehabilitation programs.

“How come I was always threatened by my dad and anybody that participated in this conservatorship? If I don’t do this, what they tell me to enslave me to do, they’re going to punish me,” she said.

Spears added that she felt she had no choice but to do the “Piece of Me” concert residency in Las Vegas from 2013 to 2017. According to the New York Times, Spears’s father took 1.5% of the residency’s gross ticket and merchandise sales, from which he made at least $2.1 million. Two years before that, he took a 2.95% commission from his daughter’s “Femme Fatale” tour, making an estimated $500,000.

Aside from payouts to her father, Spears has had to pay millions of dollars to lawyers since the start of her years-long legal battle. One court document said she paid nearly $332,000 to her lawyer, Samuel D. Ingham III, for his services between 2016 and 2018. It is estimated that Spears has paid Ingham at least $3 million in legal fees since 2008, according to the New York Times.

Ingham is facing scrutiny for failing to take action for Spears, after she told the judge on Wednesday, “I didn’t know I could petition the conservatorship to be ended. … My attorney says I can’t — it’s not good.”

Now experts are saying Spears may have been robbed of her right to petition the conservatorship, as well.

“It’s certainly troubling that this has gone on for so long if she has wanted to end it,” Rebekah Diller, an expert on guardianships, reportedly told the New York Times. “It’s hard to know exactly what’s gone on behind closed doors, but in general one would hope she has been told that throughout the years, because it’s a critical right she was entitled to.”

Additionally, as the conservatee is usually responsible for paying the fees of a conservator’s attorneys, Spears has had to pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for her father’s legal representation. Forbes reports that she paid at least $170,000 in late 2018 to Freeman, Freeman and Smiley, the law firm representing Jamie Spears. ...

I have been involved with a number of them and never seen a court make a wrong call. Can the conservator foul it up? Sure. One might note in 13 years of conservatorship the court has never undone it upon review which suggests the conservatee has some real problems.
Posted By: scottishkat Re: Britney - 07/03/21
Here's what CA state law says. I suspect she has a myriad of issues. You can have all kinds of talent and no sense whatsoever. They have to go before the judge every 2 years and she has to meet an investigator.

Note to self when you have to go before the judge don't start a free _------- web site.

Management of Wealth and Property
When a conservatorship is established, the Judge will require that a bond be obtained for the liquid assets and annual income in the person's estate. Liquid assets include bank accounts and stocks. A bond is like an insurance policy. If the conservator mishandles the money or takes it, the person in conservatorship can be reimbursed.

The Judge also schedules the case for Court monitoring of the finances and property of the person in conservatorship as well as his or her welfare. The law requires that an Inventory and Appraisal of all assets be filed within 90 days of the appointment of the conservator. The conservator must also file a General Plan for the conservatorship. If the conservatee has any real property, the conservator must record evidence of the conservatorship with The Recorder of the City and County of San Francisco.

One Year Review
One year after the appointment of the conservator and every two years thereafter, an accounting of the assets, including the income and the expenditures must be filed with the Court. The accounting is reviewed in detail by a probate examiner. An investigator personally interviews the individual in conservatorship periodically and determines if the conservator is acting properly.

Truth. The top 2 layers of Hollywood and the Entertainment Industry are put there by the Bolsheviks in charge for what can be made off them, not because of their talent which many have who dont make it to the top. They sell their soul to the cabal for the riches they will recieve and are controlled by the cabal having control over them through drug addiction or pedophelia.

Sounds to me like her constitutional rights have been stolen to benefit others.

If she's able to work as much as she does to earn her money she should be lowed to spend it. They need to get her out of her dad's control. He's basically human trafficking her for the money. He's got to get his fat check every month and who knows what else he's self dealing. A real dad would look after his daughter for free.

Another Gen Xer who's dad only wants to be involved if he can make some money doing it.
