I have a niece in the Seattle area. Her parents, my sister & BIL, were here for a visit this weekend. She's very liberal and a lesbian. One of her clients was the Dem party. After the last election, she dropped them as a client and moved out of town. Even as a liberal, she saw too much. She won't say what she saw but it was enough to turn even a liberal's liberal away from them. She won't vote R, but she will never vote D again. It'll be all independent or 3d party. I would sure like to know what she knows.
She can't be all bad. She loves the same stuff I do.
I heard some democrats have left the party but then, they also have some new members that swallow all their B.S. and believe it. The ones who left are mostly older and the new members are all the young brain washed dupes. It's called "changing demographics", and so the younger generation, who have no idea about socialist, commie concepts and think socialism will be great will soon outnumber the old folks as they die off. That's how history manages to repeat itself.

In the past few weeks, she's complained that the homeless and Antifa have turned downtown into a sheit filled ghost town (for shopping and wandering) and complained about taxes.
Of course, I asked her if she sees the connection between voting for people who promise to bring high taxes and homelessness and her current complaints. She won't respond, but it's clear that she's trying to reconcile her politics with reality.
She'll continue voting (D), cause that's what her masters at PMSNBC and CNN tell her, but there is at least hope that the next generation who are living this stuff will see what she refuses to see.

same thing with friends from new jersey. they complain about all things bad in jersey and when i point out that it is all democratic policies that screwed that state up, they reluctantly agree. but i know they still voted for spongebrain joe. we usually avoid political discussions.
