Where have you ever seen any evidence that any senator gives a rat's ass what you or I think. Please show us that evidence. One example will suffice.
I don't necessarily know if they care what we think, but they do care about getting re-elected. If they hear enough opposition, it may sway them. It's why most politicians are so interested in polls. And I know that writing or calling is a multiplier because they know many people think like whatever the caller/writer thinks, but are too lazy to do it.
