My son had to be there a couple days a few years ago and had his car broken into with laptop, cameras, etc. stolen. Cops wouldn't even respond - recommended a drive-thru auto glass replacement business. It actually had several lanes - just drive up, order, and it's replaced while you wait. There must be hundreds of these break-ins each day out there.
I am not going to San Francisco.
In 1965 and again in 1972 while stationed in Vallejo, going to San Francisco was lots of fun. I took my new bride there in 1976 and again it was great.
I wouldn't go back there now even if I was paid to do so! My wife asked about going back on our wedding anniversary and I said no way in hell would I go back there! I will have to wait for a time machine...
