It has been an ugly couple of months for my portfolio. Commodities, metals, energy, small caps all selling off. Thankfully bitcoin came back some.

I can’t complain,,yet. I started easing towards cash positions after his first 100 days.

My investments in the stock market are small and they are mostly treading water the first half of this year. Some are up, some are down. Total value stays about the same and they all cycle in both directions

What you have sounds to be diversified.

If my X and CLF calls don't start printing again I am going to punt until the next election.

I tend to focus a little more long term care focusing on the last week or two. While the market is over valued, low interest rates and massive “printing” has flooded the market with liquidity. I would fight the Fed now. Moving to cash is a losing proposition.

Separately, lots of opportunities in residential real estate.

I had some sell orders trigger when it crashed in May but I still hold most of what I had.

I didn't buy any more, kind of wished I had, but I did buy some other cryptos.

Who know what the next months/years will do, but timing the market is a fools game unless you are extremely lucky.

It seems to have a resilience even when bad news like China and Musk offers it up.

Its interesting for sure. Its cycle from the halving either peaked back in the spring or we are going through a "mid cycle correction". Its either doing a dead cat bounce headed for 10k or building a base from which to attack new highs and maybe go on a moonshot to 6 figures. Place your bets now or wait for clarity. Don't gamble with more than you can afford to lose. Past performance is no guarantee of future results, etc,etc.

I believe cryptos are here to stay. When you see the likes of Goldman Sachs and other major investment houses taking direct part it would appear that crypto has a lot of traction for the long haul.

Thank you- I used to joke with my father that I regularly beat his Edward Jones advisor on rate of return. Of course, my father was in retirement and that is a different ball game.
