I have a question about this. I was prescribed HYDROXYCHLOROQUINE last month after a Lupus diagnosis. Looks like I will be taking it for the rest of my life. Keep in mind, the viral infection is over and gone and Hydroxychloroquine or ABs or Ivermectin is useless for the virus after 5 days.

The ABs can help prevent pneumonia and Ivermectin does help reduce inflammation after the 7 or so days when the cytokine storm hits.

The reason steroids help is they reduce inflammation. Steroid tablets or injected steroid is spread over the body and are diluted in the lungs.

Budesonide (budesonideworks.com) is concentrated in the lungs and if used early, can drastically reduce or prevent the killing pulmonary edema.

Budesonide is FDA approved for 6 mo babies and iirc, maybe for premies. Pretty safe, I'd say.
