Just guessing but I suspect they were told to hurry up and leave Bagram by someone in D.C. who had never thought about all this stuff. While the troops on the ground were trying to figure out what to do with the stuff, they were told to leave right now. So they left it for the Afghan army. The Afghan army saw the Americans bugging out in the middle of the night, without even telling the Afghans, so they did the same.

We could have. It’s very likely that the reason all of those weapons and money weren’t taken is because the people who are pulling the strings of the Biden Administration...those who are the ‘real’ power behind it...wanted all of those weapons and money to fall right into the hands of those that it did.
