This should tick off everyone. If they couldn't take them out why did they at least not use explosives to destroy the weapons and money, not to mention all of the humvees and aircraft that were left behind.

Just guessing but I suspect they were told to hurry up and leave Bagram by someone in D.C. who had never thought about all this stuff. While the troops on the ground were trying to figure out what to do with the stuff, they were told to leave right now. So they left it for the Afghan army. The Afghan army saw the Americans bugging out in the middle of the night, without even telling the Afghans, so they did the same.
Someone in D.C. needs to be court martialed.
