Haha, ok, the fried chicken thread made me think. If I had a last meal, what would I want it to be?
Mine would be pinto beans seasoned with salt pork, corn bread, fried potatoes, cucumber and buttermilk slaw. A big glass of sweet tea and homemade pie for dessert (apple, cherry, or blueberry) or blackberry cobbler.
That sounds pretty good!
But you left out the pan fried chicken fried steak with buttermilk gravy..

First thing I thought of was the fried chicken from the other thread when I saw your post! But a good pot of beans with ham, cornbread and fried potatoes with onion would be a close 2nd! Food that reminds me of growing up with a mom and 2 grandmothers that could cook!

Had to go out of town to bow shop, recurve limbs behind schedule, so snagged a Hoyt compound.
Salmon and zucc and back to the fort.
Could be last meal, for the day, or if the ' cane or groids kills me
