Bwahahaha. Maybe if you cut a third time it’ll be long enough.

And here I was thinking this would be an anti Jewish thread.

Saw very similar one on Candid Camera 30 years ago.

Don’t be doin’ that crap to me.

Unless you want to be 2’ shorter.

Along the same lines, Candid Camera shot a delivery man coming through an office door with a just barely make it through the door box on a dolly. Sent him upstairs for a signature and he came back with orders to move it up a floor. While he had been away, they swapped in a box that was about an inch too large to make it out. Their victims spent a ton of time trying every conceivable possibility.

My SIL is slowly remodeling an old house. There was a wall between her kitchen and dining room that needed to come out and it needed a header for support. She bought a beam and proceeded to cut it 2" short. She had to add a 2x4 support on each side of the kitchen.

Many don't even know how to read a tape measure in this day and age.
I betcha most of the Liberal Socialist Democrat sockpuppet trolls on here don't even know how.

A couple years ago I had a contractor show me what he called his "$42,0000 tape measure". At first glance I could see nothing wrong 'till he pointed out it started at 1'0"! He laid out the foundation and basement of a fairly large house with it and didn't catch the mistake 'till after it was poured.
you can always make it shorter.

LOL, as a Carpenter working in residential Construction that was one of my favorite gags to pull on a new guy or even the boss.....I would hold his tape just past the measuring point, then they would cut it and it would be too long leaving me writhing on the floor laughing, too short isn't near as funny...I was always a big hit on the jobsite. grin

So you're that guy! I had an old carpenter do that to me when I was learning. He kept at it, both long and short for a while. It's funny now but I was mad as hell back then. Kinda miss that old guy. He told jokes all day, every day.

Cutting shelving to length with a jigsaw is questionable anyway despite the shenanigans.

Shades of Alan Funt...... For those who don't recall that name; he was the host of TV's "Candid Camera" show decades ago. They did stuff like that all the time and it was hilarious. Just like this video is. It really reminded me of that show.

We had a guy that you could mark something for him to cut, say a piece of trim. If he cut it a hair short he'd put a slight pencil mark on edge & blame you for marking it wrong. Caught him doing it a few times. He smoked a lot of weed.
