was a total bust. Left SE Oregon going as far east as Billings Mt, and never scored. Even had a pass to some for sure deeded ground, but there were none to be seen. She did, however, go through some quality turf and snapped about 800 images during the 8-day run. Thank God we are past the days of film processing. Low on facts here, as I was not along on this trip. Will do this in a couple steps, as I think there is a limit to the number of images in a single post.

The rut is on, so these guys are out calling the ladies. A good shot when one can count their teeth.


Came upon this guy while hiking some of the potential moose ground.


Found some sleepy bison in Yellowstone


I think this was either along the Yellowstone or Madison


No idea on the location


Probably the stoutest bull encountered


and one of the smaller guys.

Thanks for the comments. We were planning another trip that way, but the boss does not think she can improve on that initial round. That being, we'll get to hang around home and not expend 4 or $500 on fuel.
