It wouldn't surprise me to find out that fb was actually conceived and run as a data harvesting/spying site. I've heard speculation in the past on this possibility.

They censored me the other day for hate speech. I put up a picture of some dead wild hogs I shot and made mention that you might be a redneck or coonass if you had to deal with wild hogs every day. I like Facebook, I’ve only had it for a year but it allows you to connect with a lot of local conservative groups that you wouldn’t even know about without it. Groups that do boots on the ground work to get local and state level conservative people elected. None of the other social media sites have the reach.

More likely an internal routing problem at Faceberg. Instagram’s nameservers are reachable and so are WhatsApp’s, but those are all hosted by Amazon.

Those are returning 503 errors and that suggests they aren’t able to connect to anything that serves up content. All that would come from Faceberg’s internal network.

If you were connecting to a group via Faceberg it is (((conservative))) not conservative.

Based on what I have read around the internet I think I may be the only one on the planet who thinks that Facebooks problems are bad news. Most of you are quite pleased that FB is in trouble. But to me while I think FB is a greedy corporate entity. It's still mostly a company that is searching for profit first.

To us FB is a censor hungry left wing company that does the democrats bidding. But that's not what the democrats see. To the democrats FB is a greedy company that still allows too many right wing voices to be heard. More selective censorship is needed to get rid of those nasty awful freedom loving right wingers.
