What hunting/shooting/reloading product have you broken the most of?

For percentage owned, I'm 6 for 6 breaking the Lee Auto Prime. That little silver metal handle snapped like it was designed to fail every time.

For sheer number, RCBS decapping pins, but I have a lot of their dies.

You?
Maybe 3 decapping pins.
1 each, RCBS, Lyman, Hornady.

Not much of anything really.

Pretty similar with me, except Lyman or Redding dies mostly.
A few decapping pins.
I have 3 of the Lee hand priming tools, one each set up for large/ small primer, and one for a spare. In nearly 30 years of fairly heavy use, average 6000 rounds a year on each size,, I've never needed the spare....just saying
Lee hand primer. Bought an RCBS and problem solved. That and the bearing in a Pacific/Hornady DL 366 shotgun reloader.
Heart's.
Broken two AutoPrimes and ruined multiple RCBS expander assemblies or pins.
Clay pigeons.
RCBS hand held primer tool. A few depriming pins.
The bank
locks and chains

on other peoples’ stands
I've used a K&M priming tool for years now. I think it'll outlive me.
Inertia bullet pullers. Have broke half dozen of various brands.
Wind
Don’t recall breaking anything. Maybe a few hearts when I was a young punk.
Laws and promises.
Hearts, New Years Resolutions, diets...

On topic: Decapping Pins, especially when I first started reloading in 1959 at age 12. I didn't know about crimped primers when I had a Lot of Mil-Surp 30-06 brass given to me. crazy
Leatherman multi-tools. I have broken the plier jaws on a 4 Waves and 3 Skeletools. Destroyed the wire cutter a Wave 2 times. And I have also broken 2 knife blades on the Wave. Leatherman has always replaces the tools. However, after breaking the jaws on the Wave a 5th time I chunked it in a pond out of frustration and finally lost the Skeletool while fishing. I now have a Gerber that I hate but can't seem to break or lose. The knife blade will not stay sharp even after very light use.
Laughing ----
Pins, rods, inertia pullers. Yep. Not recently, but the learning curve was kind of steep.
1911 pistols, it must be me as everyone else talks about their reliability.grin

Nothin much but my son is a master at breaking hammer handles. Do that count?
As soon as the Optics forum fellas see this, the top answer will undoubtedly be, "Leupold scopes." crazy

Don't Remington bolt handles also sometimes fall off?
I've only broken a few decapping pins.

Still have the first kinetic bullet puller I ever bought - a Bonanza Reloading Equipment magnum model bullet puller.

I almost broke a friend - my 500NE gave him a nose bleed when both barrels went off together.
Decapping pins there for a while, but not recently. Also, several of the previous style plastic part of a Lee hand priming tool. Lee replaced several of them until they modified them. No problems with the newer version.
I got really tired of breaking RCBS X-Dies. The shaft kept breaking off at the expander ball. RCBS was nice about sending me replacements for free, but I finally called a halt and found a regular full-size resizing die.
Arrows, I've broken a lot of arrows over the years.

An ex buddy of mine left his Glock on the hood of his black truck on July 4th. It turned into a puddle. Ha!

Note: He turned into an ex buddy when he bought that damn thing.
Older Lee hand primers?
A little white lithium grease in the right spots goes a long way.
I heard of a lot of Glock 20's and Glock 29's with stock barrels blowing the hell up.

I am working on my list

Not using lube when sizing .50BMG?
Nope, lubed 300 weatherby.

I had RCBS dies for the 300, (still have them) every once in a while I would have rounds that the bolts wouldn’t close on. Different rifles etc ,. Yes the cases were trimmed.

After turning, adjusting, tweaking…I called the company, they said just screw the die in some more. I did and yeah, the frame broke. They replaced it.

I fixed the chambering problem by purchasing Hornandy dies, problem solved.

I am thinking more along the lines of Mexicans with tough jaws.
LEE reloading press handle linkages. Gave up and switched to another brand.
14 ribs.

Waiting for answer. I think an anvil would break easier.
Wore out a priming tool after about 20 years because I was to dumb to use a little grease on it. Bought the new square one and used the parts to fix the old one.
I know I could have sent it back but after 20 years I didn’t think it would have been ethical. Lee says lifetime but I don’t. Edk
Arrows or fishing lines.
Im sure Jim Conrad has broken a lot of hearts, I know Goosey is one of them......

Winchester bolt rifle stocks.

I broke two on a model 670 in 30-06, and one on a 70 classic in 264. Actually, my son let his cow pony pass under a low hanging quakie on an elk hunt and broke the 264.

I broke the first stock on the 06 while it was loaned to me about fifty years ago. I bought a box of ammo to check zero on the rifle, and the forearm split on the eighth round.

I offered to buy a new stock and have it fitted. The owner said he would prefer to just trade my new Wingmaster magnum 12 ga for the rifle.

Little did he know, I actually got the better of that trade. With a new Weaver V7, that old 06 was one of the most accurate rifles I ever owned and was the most dependable freezer filler ever.

I broke the second stock off of it while carrying it mounted on a 76 Honda XL 350 in extremely difficult terrain.
Broke out laffin’ from time to time. Cracked a few smiles as well.
Eggs
twigs, at exactly the wrong moment.
Bolts on autos, wood screws
hymens
U joints, ring & pinions, front axles.

I'm more careful with reloading. Maybe a decapping pin or two.

Me too, went to carbon, not so many now, it’s straight or it’s broken. Fug aluminum arrows.
I always took my girlfiends hunting and shooting...

The thing I broke the most of - Was their hearts.
The bits on those cheap "gunsmith" screwdriver sets. I've mangled a bunch of those babies even after I bought a FAT wrench.

I have two Mark V's. One .240 and a .300. Both German. Have the older Weatherby die sets with the open window. Very good dies.

You think maybe your RockChucker had a bad cast?
Used to break a lot of u -joints,

That’s real world chit. Where you get to walk for a few miles. Try to convince people youre not the spawn of charlie manson.

Decapping pins. LOL
