Send Mr. Hornady a message. He is obviously caving to pressure about his U.S. government contracts. I'm guessing our little 1000 or less bullet and brass orders pale in comparison. I messaged him on Fakebook yesterday but got no response yet. They have been my favorite supplier of bullets, brass, dies, and a good bit of other equipment but I am hugely disappointed that he didn't call a meeting and offer his employees alternatives and exemptions. As in ''if you have a religious exemption we will not oppose you''.

If someone here knows Mr. Hornady please invite him to come here and explain why he would do this now after probably half his work force has already contracted and recovered from the dread virus.
Steve Hornady can suck my crank.
#moreforme 🤣🤣🤣
DAMN YANKEE!!
30 pieces of silver for Judas .... go find a tree Steve !

I guess if he doesn't give in and loses those multi million dollar govt contracts, the civilian world will just keep those workers of his hired by paying more for their boolits?

Maybe Steve could just start a "Go Fund Me" page for the ones he'd have to lay off?

Rock and a hard place kinda deal, no?

Everyone has their panties in a bunch about Hornady. Did you miss the part about ALL businesses with more than 100 employees will be subject to the mandate.

No, for damn sure I don't agree with it, but just as for damn sure all other bullet companies will fall in line.

So if you want to boycott Hornady, stock up on your other favorites quickly before its time to boycott them.

Socialism is on the move!

No kidding. The anger should be directed at the Biden administration and those that voted for him, not companies in lose lose situations. If you are going to boycott Hornady at least be consistent and boycott all companies that require the jab.
It's roll over or fight time Tom.

Right now.

Employees are refusing the jab some are winning, some are leaving.
Those that leave aren't fighting, but they are helping. A little.

Companies are not all jumping on the bandwagon.
Some are resisting. Trying to avoid it, hoping to avoid it.

The more resistance we put up, right now, the better chance we have
of winning.

With Hornady's move, they just shucked their load. It now weighs
heavier on the remaining patriotic holdouts. And it's much more
likely that Sierra, Nosler, Barnes... will follow suit.

Good people sometimes just need a leader.
Cowards also wait to follow the first one to cave.

If enough people fight, now we win this.
If they stay hidden, cave one by one, everyone might as well
line up. For the "good" jobs. For groceries. For a permit to buy a car.

A win on this is only a battle for traditional minded Americans.
But a loss, a loss is pretty much losing the war.

Hope to not be too nasty.
We agree, mostly.

Yeah. Tell Biden you are grouchy with him.

He's bound to cave any moment.

I really doubt that any of you could own a company like this and fold over this crap. Not only do you go broke but then all your employees do also. Lifetime to build a company. I will be the first pussy here to say I would resist as much as possible but when it came to being closed down forever by the feds I would fold. Edk
What specifically have you done?

Government contracts are a main factor in why guys like us cannot get any components. If Hornady lost a government contract, the demand is still there, just a consumer writing the check instead. Win win...

There are many companies that are waiting for that to become an actual regulation and then challenge it in court.

I would think Hornady would be one of them but it appears not.

Hahaha! Profits might suffer a bit if they dont just proactively force their long time employees to get a bullshit shot.

Maybe then Biden will show them extra favor and profits will grow even higher.

Then maybe they could inform on their rivals.

Spot on. Most of the ammo/component companies have government contracts and over 100 employees. Hornady's just the first to become public.
I guess if you keep it on the down low you're some kind of hero to the cancel culture Karens.
I wonder how many of these boycotters are now buying Smith and Wesson products after swearing a lifetime boycott for the Clinton sellout.

Do you know the full story on that?
For those who are indignant over Hornady's action and have some Hornady .284 154 grain SP InterLock bullets, send me a PM if you want to get rid of them, My 7mm Mag shoots them lights out.
First off, we all know what a bunch of b a s t a r d s OSHA can be. Hornady has 100+ employees. OSHA degrees get the jab or else. I don't see a hell of a lot of leeway for Hornady. That or else could mean canceling government contracts or worse completely shutting Hornady down. Remember, government agencies like OSHA has no watchdog to prevent them from passing very unconstitutional regulations. We all know how the BATFE has done so for years and no one in Congress has said boo to them. I say give Hornady some slack. There may be details we do not know about.

Unless a man shoots heavy 224's or 30 cal eldx's your not going to find any Hornady projectiles

What have I done?

Talk.

My bosses know where I stand.
My fellow employees know where I stand, they know we hold
the most power. They know if we resist, the company will not insist.
(The supervisors have already told the president they wont have
a work force if the mandate a shop. Wish I was so certain. But it's working)

I don't give in or allow defeatist talk around me.

If everyone who truly doesn't want the jab did just this, it would be
a huge disincentive to overreaching management. It's a time of
employee shortages and no applicants. If the number of probable
fired employees is high enough. No company is going to do anything
They aren't forced to do.

My reps are all either on board, or retiring.

Any other ideas?

If you believe the cdc stats, the vast majority of adult Americans are fully vaccinated.

They claim 190mill are fully vacc’d and the adult (18+) pop is around 210million.

The fact that they are willing to push the remaining few who do not wish to be vacc’d out of work is complete horseschit.
Next you'll need to show your "Jab" card to get fuel for your vehicle.

Not so fast there slappy.

The CDC is looking into changing the definition of "fully vaccinated".

They will likely require a booster shot now to qualify for "Fully Vaccinated" status.

Get your shots! Wall Street needs you!
Chain of command ..... must follow orders .....

Now we know where the loyalty lies .... after being given all the multi-million dollar contracts.... it is now time to repay the favors ..... even if it means destroying peoples lives via forced toxxine injections or unemployment .....

..... I have a large inventory of Hornady bullets and will move to reclaim my $$ .... and Hornady won't get one more dollar from me unless they rescind this tyrannical attack by forced injection on their employees ......

Didn’t see a lot of leeway for Southwestern either. But………..

To be on target……Greenbrier Medical Center has required no person get vaccinated. Yet…people are dying everyday…..

ETA…..122 bed facility. Covid is Bullsshhiitt.
OSHA has actually proposed an emergency order that all companies with over 100 employees require their employees to be fully vaccinated, or get tested weekly. Or be fined IIRC $14,000 or thereabouts.

Question is, who pays for the testing?

I believe a lot of companies are going to wait it out while it goes through the courts…
Hornady caved to Pedo Joe's mandate without regard to their employees, passing the buck onto the backs of their employees in order to escape fines and loss of government contracts ....

THAT is the most spineless, cowardly act any company can pull on the people who operate the gears in producing them the profits .....

Shoving them under the bus just to protect their interests in cold hard .gov taxpayer cash

nothing is more despicable than forced toxic injections = to keep a job .... it is Satanic in nature, sell your soul for the $$

Fhck you Hornady
My company is paying for the testing right now. How long will it last?????
Hornady could learn from this .....,, act like real Americans instead of sellout Commies ..

My son works for a company that offers a $150 deduct in pay to cover the cost of testing. Rocket science...
The entire system must be allowed to fail.

Remember in 2008 when .GOV said "GM was too big to be allowed to fail."???

That was a mistake then... and is a WORSE MISTAKE NOW.

Natural selection IN ALL THINGS!

I wrote Steve Hornady on Saturday... I will never use his products again...

I will allow him (and his company/legacy) to live or die by his decisions as a man... it is ONLY NATURAL.

I have not sat in ANY GM product since 2008.

So be it.

I would be taking medical leave over the "stress" of testing, not testing, contemplating the jab... or not contemplating the jab.. yada yada.

I would be taking medical leave over the "stress" of going thru menopause (even though I am a biological male)...

Think this through.
When has the man on the street ever been able to affect the
top echelon of his enemy?

Did the Partisans of WWII love their sympathizer neighbors, or
thwart them at every opportunity?

(No! I don't know Hornady's political thoughts, or if he is a Nazi!
I do know they are being way too accommodating to our enemy.
They are NOT forced to do this, yet. They are happily doing it
though.)

Wouldn't it be a shame if enough of the employees quit over this bs, that the company defaults on the contracts?
Fear is what is motivating people to promote the wishes of those that want our freedom trampled. Businesses like Hornady fear they will lose government contracts which will cut into their profits. If every bit of the manufacturing facility of companies like this were burned to the ground by those that desire freedom above all else I think there might be a change in what was feared.

That should happen to all employers that mandate the vaccine. If everyone stood up and said no walk off the job and shut this country down we would win. But I don't see it happening too many weak minded people just bow down and do as told.

Didn’t anyone else read the memo? The mandate stated December 8 as the date to have all employees in any business employing 100 people to get the vaccination.

Sure, Steve doesn’t care about anything or anyone else, he just wants to follow President Biden.

This forum is stupider than what they are accusing Steve Hornady of being.

There are a couple factors involved in that story but one was their CEO at that time was a Fugking Idiot.

The second is that Glock was looking to capture the LE market in the United States. Their only contender was Smith and Wesson.

When the Clinton administration wanted to enact a new string of bullschit rules Glock’s attorney’s sat at the table with S&W and gave the impression they were going to do same and that the gun manufacturing industry was collectively on board with the administration.

On the day of signatures Glock never showed. Schumer himself called Glock’s attorneys and screamed at them for what they pulled. Glock America laughed and said have a good one.

S&W then succumbed to the insane levels of pressure Schumer was exerting.

S&W’s board ultimately removed the CEO for being a Fugking Idiot and saved the company.

Moral of the story is don’t associate with fugking idiots. Pretty sure S&W learned their lesson and should have been forgiven accordingly. On the same note, everyone that boycotted them was in the right because none of these facts came out until a decade later.
