In March of this year I sold my home in CA (and moved back home to PA), the highest bidders was a Chinese couple bidding 50k over what it was appraised at.

My agent and hunting partner told me to reject it and take a slightly lower offer that was 60% cash, he explained the Chinese buyers agent was also Chinese and the bid was contingent on Chinese bank approving the price. He said every time he dealt with them they over bid then the bank refuses to go to the amount they bid and they want to renegotiate the price. It seems to the Chinese a deal is never a deal and can be reworked...
