my kids all live on their own and have good jobs, the only piece of chit living here is my old lady's son, if I had my way I'd kick them out and sell the house but my dad depends on my old lady to take care of him. I couldn't do it and work.

Congratulations on the granddaughter, what a blessing. That should trump a dead cat. Glad your dad recovered enough to make it back home!

Might consider Hospice for your Dad if you haven’t already done so.

Congratulations on that grand baby. Much to be thankful for with that.

Hospice?

I would club my old man to death before I put him in hospice.
Posted By: Sycamore Re: [bleep] show today - 10/28/21
people can be in hospice at home, depending on what ails them.

No need to club your Dad to death.
Hospice comes to your/his home regularly for the patient, the medicine is free. The patient can recover and go off of Hospice then go back on its services at a later date if things recur.

It’s not at all what it used to be. You might want to check out what I’ve said here for yourself.

Hospice will provide a hospital bed for your Dad in your home. I forgot to mention that earlier.

Wife and mother were in hospice care here at home. They were good people. And I could not have done it all by myself. They both looked forward to the folks coming in daily.

Makes a darn good day, Roger.
Dad being sprung, and a newbie - all at once.
You're blessed - put work on the back burner, for a bit. It'll still be waiting in a day or two.

Hospice ain't what people think, it's alot more than deathbed care.
