Or will admit it, anyway? grin
Didn’t know it was coming on, but I do now..
Ill watch it.
I’ll be watching it.

Who wouldn’t admit it?
Rockinbbar: I am going to.
And I have NO hesitancy in saying so.

The wife informed me the TV was hers for the night and was non negotiable
Oh, yeah.

From all reports, great show.

But Costner is anti gun. So..,
I plan to watch it.
Rip better not be killed.

My wife would have their heads on a pike! grin
No tv in the blind or house. Expect to be skinning after supper anyhow.

How longs skinning take? 😂
I watched the first season, but I still cannot see the draw to this show. All the actors are terrible, including Costner. Costner has never been a good actor, case in point...watch Dancing With Wolves. What do I know though? I thought the Walking Dead was a stupid show, and it has thousands of fans.
Fugg anything Costner is in, worse than Baldwin or Cruise.
Many I know will watch it!
Wish I could. Don’t have cable anymore.
I need to find out which Premium streaming service has it and sign up. 😬
The ol lady likes it. Will be on the TV in front room.

Amazon Prime has the first 3 seasons, but only Peacock and Paramount have Season 4 I think.
I have never watched it, and don't intend to watch tonight.

I’m in a blind right now. If I shoot a buck in the next 30 minutes I’ll be getting a shower when it comes on. If I don’t get one I’ll be fixin supper or eatin supper. No TV in the camper.
I"ll watch it, the alternatives are just as bad, at least Yellowstone has some decent scenery in it.

Thanks! Been meaning to sign up for Prime.

I get Peacock, but you have to sign up for “Premium” to get the new stuff. I think it’s only $4.99 per month.

Peacock will not be showing season 4, at least not until a few months after season 4 has concluded.
I will be. I've been watching the marathon on and off for the last couple days. Only show on tv worth watching IMO.

So it's Paramount Network only ?...because Plus doesn't lit it until the season is over.

EDIT: Yellowstone Season 4 debuts with back-to-back episodes Sunday, November 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET on Paramount Network, TV Land, CMT, and POP TV.

I can't find it streaming anywhere...it's here: Yellowstone Season 4 debuts with back-to-back episodes Sunday, November 7 at 8:00 p.m. ET on Paramount Network, TV Land, CMT, and POP TV.

But I'm sure there are streams on Youtube, or illegal streams available.
Oh hell yeah. Watched some of it a few years ago on Paramount, didn't do much for me. Not a Costner fan. Then we got Peacock TV and I binged all three seasons last winter. I wante be Rip Wheeler when I grow up.

Better half watched all 800 seasons of Homeland last winter, eventually decided to watch Yellowstone. Told her it's like Homeland, only with profanity, nudity and lots of dead people.

Yep. Ole Rip is a badass. I also watched it for the hot redhead and the cute little Chinese chick that plays the Indian girl. 🤠
I binged watched a whole season or two, two years back at a buddy’s house in Great Falls.

Since then I can just Youtube it once in awhile to sorta follow along and see who Rip is beating up this time.

I’ll bet real ranches are just like that, except with more Mexicans smirk
I think the Yellowstone prequel starts tonight too

Paramount is cable, streaming Paramount Plus isn't carrying it yet.
Love the show. Rivals the Sopranos for best series ever.

Just read this, guess we will find out if it’s accurate tonight:

Someone does die in episode 1 though, just not who we expected. Towards the end we see Rip approach Roarke Morris (Josh Holloway) who is fishing in a shallow stream. Rip approaches him, shaking up a cooler box that contains a venomous snake. The snake bites Roarke on the face and he slowly dies after frothing at the mouth. Rip stands over him and says "good riddance" as Roarke takes his last breath.

A cross between Dallas and SOA with some Longmire scenery.
I tried to watch the first season. Like a soap opera. Didn't make it past episode 5 or 6.

Sons of Anarchy was a pretty damn good show !

Tried it.

Skipped the stupid parts....pretty soon I saw it all.

Where are the macinne sheds ? Lotsa heavy 'chinery. Prolly out behind the barn.

Where is the chopper domiciled? Where are the fuel barrels?

Woody Woodpecker or Roadrunner 'toons much more entertaining.

The nekkid redhead is about as good as it can be.

Never saw SOA, but I think I remember the promos. Looked like a bunch of Harley stuff, IIRC.

Yellowstone ranch hands vs motorcycle gang, S3, Ep. 4. smile

All set to watch, liked the SOA but hated the ending.
watching it
The show strikes me as a California urbanites take on what Montana is like. Some of the stuff is just plain laughable.

I'm afraid Yellowstone has worn out its welcome on my TV.
Finally got the writers to do some good "shootem ups"! I'm glad that "Tate" didn.t have any lines really....could have killed that character off & his woke Mom, ha
I’ve never watched it because I want to see it from the start. Is it on any place from the start? Edk

Nah. Nobody’s worse than that asswipe Baldwin.
I’m not just going to tell you I didn’t see the show, I’m going to virtue signal all over the place and tell you why.
I started watching but this new movie AUDIO crap is not for my ears.

Turned up TV real loud and still couldnt hear half the crap on low inflection. Then, when the rancher and kids in the 1880s cut out their beef to head home and it was Herefords with ear tags i said to hell with this crap.

Flipped over to John Wayne in the Alamo and i could hear every word said. Unfortunately i can also hear every word said on every TV commercial. I also have no problem hearing everything on Fox Business or Hannity.

WTH is it with these modern movie sound crews?

Thought it was just the wife & I. Our hearing is going, but seemed like it suddenly got worse. We had the volume cranked so high the cat left the room. Finger on the mute button so the commercials didn't blow the windows out.

You're right, I have no problem hearing every word in older shows.

Yep. It’s that way with all “modem” TV Shows and Movies.
One of my pet peeves 😡 That and their loud ass soundtrack with schitty music.

Costner's gems:

Costner, who voted for Barack Obama in 2008, was also asked about former first lady Michelle Obama running for president (something she’s said won’t be happening). “Michelle’s incredibly bright and articulate and has possessed good judgement and experience as a result. Why couldn’t she be [president]?” he replied, adding, “She’d have a level of interest from me.”

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kevin Costner continues to be impressed by Pete Buttigieg after endorsing him in the Democratic primary during an Iowa rally last December.

“There was this kind of thought, [you can] like Pete, but it’s not his time,” the Oscar winner tells Variety. “And I think, you know what, really? Really? Not his time? I think he’s even showing now that he’s a person of a level of energy and integrity and of vision and that’s why I did it. I don’t often step out.”

Although he hasn’t hit the campaign trail for the general election, Costner has endorsed Joe Biden for president.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yellowstone star Kevin Costner has never been afraid to speak his mind, and that goes double when it comes to the 2020 presidential election. In a wide-ranging interview with The Daily Beast, the actor took aim at everything from President Trump’s “dangerous” war on the Post Office to the “dumbing-down” of U.S. history.

“While very intelligent men were drafting it, women weren’t drafting it, and the only people who could vote were people with property,” said the actor. “Women couldn’t vote, Native Americans couldn’t vote, Black people couldn’t vote, people without property couldn’t vote. America is an idea, and we have a chance to live up to it. And we haven’t done it. We don’t put others in front of ourselves, and when we marginalize people like we did — enslave them — we never recovered from that. So the idea of the [Confederate] statues, I don’t think they’re appropriate.”

I think so.
About the only thing I can say about the show is it's missing Alec Baldwin.
Hmmmm where have I seen this trope before.

Nah. Nobody’s worse than that asswipe Baldwin.

Yep. Costner’s definitely a Commie Dipschitt too.
But at least he isn’t as arrogant about it as Baldwin.

Well, damn, that's a shame. Hollywood commie [bleep].

That's why I said I won't watch his films, he's been outspoken for years on his views...and again he's just another Cruise, Baldwin, etc... The Hollywood elite that feel their opinion matters, and arrogant fuggs that are willing to portray roles that go against their supposed values.

Costner saying he would support Michele Obama for President, that's the final nail in the coffin for me. Years ago I watched him in a golf tournament on TV, and he was the most childish whining loser I'd ever seen...because Bill Murray was kicking his ass coming in the home stretch, terrible spoiled unsportsmanlike behavior and all in the name of charity(I think St.Judes or a childrens hospital).
Well they are actors.. same as news anchors.. i dont ever plan on going fishing with costner or the crew but its pretty good show. Not authentic but its ok. My girlfriend is from montana.. lived in a few towns up there and recognizes lots of refrences..after her dad retired from the 82nd he worked on several diff ranches before moving his gals to missouri

Amazon Prime has the first 3 seasons, but only Peacock and Paramount have Season 4 I think.

Watched it on Prime last night.

Had to wait till 7pm Eastern.
I thought the new episodes were poorly written, disjointed, leaving things out and just strung together scenes.with no connection or flow. Yes, there were great scenes, but too much too fast without enough context. I am a fan, watched the.first three seasons is several times. Hope it gets better.

Pretty much how I saw it. As stated, disjointed.
I watched it last night, reminded me of a Hallmark Dallas movie, with some swearing and lots of wasted ammo...I'd call it trash.

They left out a lot of background info, & no reference point at all about time had lapsed between major events, so you don't know if it was a week, a month or a year.................for instance, Beth's burn scars don't heal in a short period.

Not a great production of a good story-line.

That's been the case with a lot of shows.

The following seasons get off the original things that made them popular, and go downhill from there. Too many twists.
My wife watches all sort of shows that last a couple/three seasons before they run out of believable story lines, then they bring in ALIENS or bigfoot sightings.
I've never seen an episode but know a few folks who talk about the show.

At least they brought Beth's nipples back out in the open. Been a long dry spell.
i think a lot of sour milk is being spilled here, i thought the epsode was great.
when his daughter is sitting in the bar, a couple walks in, the man telling his woman to get him a beer while he heads for the bathroom.
the two women start talking and the ranchowners daughter sa ys, thats the way it is, the woman has all the puzzy and half the income.
she is just hot.
that rattlesnake scene was great

It was easier for me to buy the DVDs than subscribing and downloading, and I've got the DVDs to loan to buddies. You can get 'em down at the Walmart.

Yeah, overall, I enjoy it.

It's just entertainment. Some need to lighten up a bit.

I could do without the political "Poor Indian" stuff though.

Well, thats a wrap. I dont need to watch any of his schiett then. Like Jane Fonda.
Thanks.
I don’t know a damn thing about cattle —and it’s nit-pickin I know but it looked to me like when the rancher told his kids to cut a steer outta the herd for the poor Indians— they cut out a nice fat yearling heifer.
My wife likes it , guess I will sleep through another season . Don't think I have ever watched more than 10 minutes before im bored to sleep .
It's not terrible. There's worse scheit on TV.

The scenery is amazing.
Wonder if Netflix gets The Prairie Farm Report?

Lloyd's one of my favorite characters. He's the real deal, careful not to outshine the entire cast of pretenders.

Did Jimmy finally break his neck for good, or just get dumped by the crazy barrel racer?
Watched it last night. Won't watch again unless it's recorded, so I can fast forward through the endless commercials!
Last I knew, the first three seasons are still on Peacock TV, so they can be watched anytime.
Love it!
Beth Dutton is the best! Such a bad ass.
I really enjoy the show.
I especially enjoyed yesterday's shootout where thousands of rounds were spitting out of what looked like 30 rd mags.
Beth wouldn't need and automatic rifle.
Nice scenery but it is one flat out stupid show.
I never knew the Brand Inspector was so well armed and had so much clout until I watched Yellowstone.

Maybe, maybe not. Full auto I've not seen, but usually the law enforcement folks that deal with livestock thieves are dealing with some real scumbags.

In Texas, the "Cattle Rangers" are very well equipped and trained. They usually get results when called in on a case too.

[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]

Cattle theft, equipment theft, etc. in the livestock industry is a real thing.. And getting worse.

I'm thinking Kayce knows his way around firearms on & off the set

Wonder who is the 'armorer' on this show ?

Rip is one mean SOB.........

Did they reveal who shot JR yet?

😂🤣😂
A typical brand inspector is not armed and is not a law enforcement agent.

A Livestock Investigator is an armed law enforcement officer.

He or she has to go to the LEO academy and work as a police officer or deputy for several years before he is eligible to become an Investigator.

Pretty much the same here.

Funny thing about New Mexico, is that their brand inspectors ARE LEO's and are commissioned to carry arms. At least the ones that do brand inspection prior to shipping. Their brand inspectors that make the livestock auction circuit are not commissioned.

I knew one there that about starved flat to death on the salary they paid him.
The producer pays for the inspection at shipping time here Barry.

It's on a per head basis.

If there are irregularities, the district Investigator gets notified and he starts an investigation.

We have been involved enough a couple disputes. They were okay to deal with.

I’ve done a couple cases where the cattle rangers were involved and I would not want them after me. Very thorough and they run down every possible loose end, eliminated every alibi and loophole before they ever send the case to the prosecutor
Guns and Ammo interview with Cole Hauser here. He at least is supposed to be a hunter.

beth reminds me of a former secretary of mine, since passed away.
unless she told you you wouldn't know her step dad owned about half of palm springs.
we were at this snooty dinner party one night, the only two women not pregnant or with kids was margo and my wife.
so snoot woman no one asked margo if she had any kids. she said yes, and they are pretty good but have some problems.
what? well the red one keeps trying to hump the black one and they both [bleep] all over the place. I had whiskey shooting out of my nose in the dead quiet. course she was really talking about her dobermans.
Thanks for that, dodgefan. Enjoyed the read.
Every show that opens with a gunfight is a good show.
That's the kinda shít that they put in Guns and Ammo these days?

An actor with a gun story and it's positive, I like to see that he's not a typical Hollywood hypocrite liberal. My wife really likes his character "Rip". He's a 180 degree change from the POS alec baldwin.

Nobody's mentioned the arm brace yet. Or the folding knife that's going to get lost when his seatbelt drops it outside his pickup.

It's interesting how things have evolved to where all of these "maxi-series" have a story line only as a vehicle for displaying violence.

I just watched it tonight. Some pretty good shootem up violent scenes brought to us by anti gun lefties. Interesting that the bad guys are either militia men or businessmen. And the Duttons are democrats. Your usual hollyweird twist on things but more interesting than most other shows.

In the real world they'd be fighting the epa or blm and environmental terrorists but Hollywood ain't running with that storyline.
