I find this decision absolutely terrifying.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...tally-attacked-82-year-old-neighbor.html
Terrified that a man can be charged for letting his dogs kill an elderly woman, or terrified that a jury would acquit him?

Wonder what the verdict would have been if the defendant were white and the deceased black?
The burning and looting would already be the top story.
Seems pretty cut and dry from the reports in the article. He failed to contain dogs that had a history of aggression.

Oklahoma juries have come up with a few decisions in recent memory that boggle the mind.

Or as the MSM would report it, "peaceful demonstrations."
Linked to the story, a pit in England killed a 10yo boy just yesterday. The breed spreads joy everywhere it turns up.

Scrolled through the article and had my complete answer as to the reason for acquittal in a few seconds, did you?

Still, you all know, it's not the breed, it's the owner, right? (giggle)
What the hell she was 82, close to being ready for the box anyway. No big deal, so they let him off. (sarcasm) If it was a child then he might have gotten some jail time.
White victim, black defendant, black jury... Any questions??
Hmmm, all that white privilege!
The dog's breeder Krystina Shumate of Iron Throne Kennels gave a tearful testimony for the defense.

'I was absolutely devastated. I couldn't believe it,' Shumate said.

'This isn't something that my dogs do. This isn't something that my dogs do.'

typical dum [bleep] pitbull owner. \Her sweet bullies dragged the screaming women to their yard and chewed off her head
On the evening of October 31st a 7 year old girl was trick or treating and they had stopped at some kinfolk's house. She was attacked by a pit/german shepherd mix. She so far has had 400 stitches, is missing an ear and part of her face and her arm is broken in 3 places. They are going to re-break the arm today to set it. She was not stable enough until now. She is going to have to have reconstructive surgery for a long tome to come and may never live a normal life. The dog is still alive as the owner refuses to kill it. This happened about 40 miles from my home.

My beagle has not attacked anyone yet and doubt he does. Besides that he does not have the equipment these pits have for breaking bones. We have a family member that has a pit and friend that has a german shepherd that is very aggressive. I told them to never bring the dogs here and we will not be coming to where they live. I'm sorry for this lady that has died. So many things in life can be avoided by being responsible. Too bad these dog owners don't see that.
Did they threaten to dox the jury?
Put a cooler in front of a hole in fence.....musta been some afroengineering.
They were bought from a reputable breeder

Yeah from the trunk of a Dodge “macknum” station wagon in front of the abandoned Block Buster video store
She should have armed herself!
I do not fault an 82 year old woman for not being well armed... wish she had been... but I don't fault her. Prayer for her loved ones.

As for me and mine... there is always lethal defense within 3 seconds or less...

Is there a family member or local vigilante that can go rough this guy up?

Have to be careful. He might sic his dog on a "local vigilante." wink

L.W.
Incredible, he should have been held accountable. I expect more out of oklahoman's.
nothing a .223 can't fix.
Did you notice, how the guy standing next to the Perp. Pushed him down onto the table when the verdict was read.
Get down on it!
