I’m about 50 miles west of Austin and would rather not drive to Austin for anything. Know any close by?
I want to thread the barrel on a Marlin 336. Will
Need to reposition the front sight and shorten the mag tube.
Or San Angelo area to Big Springs. I’m there often.
lol
holler at that dude on here that wears the Arby’s cowboy hat
Chill Instructors?
There's Hill Country Rifles in New Braunsfels, off of 35.........Good quality work but they have got very proud of themselves in recent years.....

They don’t work on levers. Bolt action only.
SB, what about sending it to Sean, here on the Fire ?
He’s supposedly fast, and does excellent work from everything I’ve ever read.

PS
I checked my smith in Texas for distance. Too far @ 4 hours away from you.
I will see if I can find his avatar user name.

It's been several years, but Two Wright Arms of Springtown Texas customized a Marlin 444 for me. Might want to inquire with them.
It’s Beav’s birthday
Happy Birthday Cleadus!!!

Try Mark Pharr in Round Rock. Tumbleweed Custom Rifles.
Jon Trammel in Breckenridge does great work - he’s done me right every time.
Might be cheaper to buy a 336a and sell what you have
Best bet right here on da' fire would be either Blackheart or Gunwizard.
Go!
Hopefully nobody in Texas would be willing to gay up a 336 like that.

which one is showing Hitler, or me. it changes sometimes.
Smith Gun Shop in San Angelo on south chadbourne
Burdett and Son, College Station. Seems like there are not many good ones around like there use to be. Use to have 3 or 4 here now only one I know of.
