Same size Slow Cooker at Big Lots Store near my house- $20 - $30 , likely made in China .
I buy USA when i can find it.

What brand Jeans are they ?
Bought Kelly tires last year
Need trailer tires but cannot find any USA. Got Walmart ones coming, no idea but suspect china.
I have a Wonderwood cabinet style stove. Inside the door it says made in 2004 by US stove company. Had to buy grates for it last year and after a little investigation I figured out it's Chinese made. The only replacement grates I could buy were Chinese. After rebuilding stove I've discovered Tractor Supply has the best price on fire brick.

And that's the main problem with most things American made "price"!! For the most part you cannot beat the quality of an American product but the price is much higher in most circumstances. I do prefer to buy American but there are things that I will just go with the cheaper product.
Old American made stuff.

In our county was a Sunbeam Oster plant.

My auntie worked there.

I’ve got a Made in USA “Hanson” deer scale.

My dad has the same scale from there. I think it has “sportsman guide” on it.

Circa mid 90’s
Mtn Dew is still made in USA
I keep lookin for American made poutine but having a hell of a time

I agree they are comfortable and well made. Comparable in quality and price is Diamond Gusset, also made in USA. I wear the DG carpenter pants for work everyday and they wear well. I used to wear Carharts and then Wrangler Riggs and I get twice the life out of the Diamond Gussets.

Buy based on high quality/price ratio w/o consideration where something is made. I do try to buy stuff made in EU, luckily some stuff is affordable like shoes from Romania instead of China, Brazil,...... I pay particular attention to anything I have to swallow: food, drugs, cooking stuff (on which meals are cooked),....

Back to original question.... I haven't found anything made in USA that I wouldn't pay the extra$$$ to get. $360.00 for a crock pot would have me thinking though...

I'm not a city boy wannabe farmer/rancher/logger.
I Buy the dam things to work in, and wear to town.

Nice!

A lot of the Japanese brands are now made in China also.
An American made vehicle. I want to puke every time I see an ad for Chevy trucks promoting those stupid bumpers or the new folding tailgates. A solution for a problem nobody asked for.

I go out of my way to buy American but a vehicle is to big of a purchase to buy something that will nickel and dime you or command lower resale value.

Been trying to figure this one out....

Maybe if they did have see through lids?
Rubber dog crap. China has always been too hard to compete with on that one. It's about the only thing they exported before Bill Clinton's reign.

Bb
Bought a 19" Zenith at the Navy Exchange back around '92. They closed the factory after that. Had a big Made in USA on the box. That's the last one I heard of.

LOL ! I actually know where one of those is.
I tried buying a hunters orange big game hunting vest made in USA a few years ago. I gave up after a few attempts.
The redfield 4-12 on my grandpa's 30-06 is a US made one. The rifle was made in Germany. An old Weatherby
I priced an ignition switch for my Polaris RZR 800. The online Chinese versions run about 15 to $20. The OEM switch from the local dealer is an even $100 more, $116.
You think Made in USA stuff is expensive now? Just wait. The retard taping the box closed is now making $25 an hour.

Is that an off the shelf part.
Or, Polaris.

Either way, I'm just not seeing the Chineese rip off a proprietary switch.
Just not enough volume.

Also find it hard to believe Polaris would use a switch that costs that
much more if it's available off the shelf.
Are you sure the OEM is really made here?

It's like parts for any American made car. You never know where they're made. The switch I looked at had Polaris on the wrapper but who knows where it was made. I just know that I would be paying $100 for that wrapper.
Don't get me started on Sawzall metal cutting blades and phillips bits for battery powered drills. American brand names don't mean anything, Country of origin is Dinky land, with a lifespan measured in minutes.
A Weather Tech Cup Phone holder a couple years back when they only sold them factory direct because people were scalping them. I called them and got the recording that my call would be answered in the order it was received. "Please wait, there are 324 callers ahead of you" Say what? Click.

The Chinks reverse engineer almost everything.
And just imagine how long goods and replacement parts would be available if trade with China were shut down. "Gone in 60 Seconds" time.

I’ve had good luck with the USA made Milwaukee sawzall blades.

I forget what “model” they are, but the higher end blades.

It's hard to find American made Carhartts.!!!!!
At this point, I doubt that we have the manpower to return all the manufacturing to the US even if everyone went back to work. We consume far more than we have the capacity to make.
Chippewa snake boots. Even if you can find stuff assembled here, they often had to source parts or materials elsewhere. I do mean had to, 'cause the stuff just isn't made here anymore.

There are more people employed in government than in manufacturing in the US today.
