I worked 2-3 jobs my whole life. Until, I retired. Then, I took a 6-month contract job, working in the same field, after retirement. Right at 42% of what I made on that contract job went straight to taxes!

I was offered an extension on the contract and turned it down. To boot, my SS benefits will be reduced by about 75% due to the amount of my retirement, even though I paid in over 40 quarters. I'm done bustin' my arse so losers can sit on their's!

My SS will be reduced 500.00 a month, cause I have a government pension, got the paperwork today from Uncle Sam. Word travels very fast!

I retire tomorrow on 12/1/2021, I have been on terminal leave form my job since 11/1/2021. In the mean time I have been working under the table for a friend of mine that owns a tree service. I work 3 days a week for $800,00 cash. He could not hire anyone and our arrangement make both of us happy! Not a lot of sitting around for me. I start a civilian job on 01/24/2021.
