You know, the time for giving to others, besides your herpes.

Lionel trainset
Got my Pop's 1952 Lionel train set.

Hasn't put together though since the late 90's for my kids.

Next christmas the grand kid will be old enough.
Yes many moons ago, long gone
I got an A.C. Gilbert American Flyer when i was young. Great train - properly scaled and realistic with two-rail track. It circled the Christmas tree for years and years. About 20 years ago I realized that it was languishing in storage and sold it to a collector who had a large lay-out in his basement.
Yep. A Lionel set in 1957. My younger brothers and I had a lot of fun with it. I still have it.
Yep, mid 60's, A Lionel O gauge set with a "Missile car" Still have it.
You ever get the [bleep] shocked out of you by putting your hands on the track, me neither
.... no but my girlfriend in college did back in '73. She was intent when the featured twirler, gal from Waterbury Connecticut, and I and another gal did a hit of microdot. Other gal was a cheerleader. Next thing you know it was me and the three gals and some wicked weed and a bottle of Jim .... and Gilly was pulling the train and I was trying to keep up.

A few days later we all went home for Christmas and I banged out my HS gilfriend like a porn pro. College was a learning experience that freshman year. Trains are for choo choos ... that night I was the caboose.

Just sold my Cockaboose in November after 20 years.

Funny how that works.

Rock out with hour cock out
Yes, a Lionel, over 60 years ago. It got heavy use.
Gilbert's from his dad.[Linked Image from i.imgur.com]
I got an A.C.Gilbert train for Christmas in '58 or '59. I would still have it but for Hurricane Rita in 2005.
No but wish I did. Some of those HO sets with the full diorama set ups are really impressive.
some of you fuggers sound like richie rich. i got an orange and a new filter for the iron lung.
Nope....
Didnt want or ask for one.
Was more into GI Joe stuff, BB guns, pellet rifles, pellet pistols, and model planes, tanks, and ships.
All of them could be combined for the violent scenario play I liked or for killing birds, squirrels, or shooting practice.

But I did get a full blown train set for the girls when they was young.
( really for me)
They enjoyed it.

It's basically impossible to keep HO track together unless you nail it to a board.
