and James Coburn was a Canuck in case no one knew that.

I've been a Lee Marvin fan since I knew what TV was...

Lee Marvin by a wide margin.

Lee Marvin, Paint your Wagon was the only musical I ever liked. The Dirty Dozen is one of my all time favorites!

Lee Marvin, and it’s not even close.

Oscar for Marvin in Cat Ballou (with music from Nat King Cole).
Lee Marvin was a liberal kghunt.

Well that’s a surprise, after all the initial praise??
I have never been much of a conformist.

You can probably tell from all the appliances in the yard.
I hate grass

my front yard is a staging area for firewood processing operation

If you ain't got a rusty 'ol wringer washer out there you got nothin' to brag on. Maytag and Whirlpool don't count. Gotta have some truck rims too.

Oh, Lee Marvin.

Coburn was born in Nebraska.

In that case...Lee Marvin.

About 50 years ago an old guy said to me......see this guy (Lee Marvin) he was/is a war hero, since then I have always liked him.

If it involves bringing a knife to a gunfight, best go with Coburn.

Depends on where you live - in some areas that is being a conformist.

a friend of my dads looked a lot like and sounded just like lee marvin. probably the 2 packs of filterless camels for 30-40 years. but ya, i would pick marvin any day. now putting him against lee van cleef would be a toughy.

The Mag 7 of course.

I read both links on the actors. Have always liked them both but Coburn's personal life read cool as hell. Ferrari's, several of them, marshal arts student, buddies with McQueen & Bruce Lee. Second wife 30 years younger. I'd bet he had fun.

Coburn

Lee Marvin, ever since I saw him in The Wild Ones.
I liked them both. At least they kept their politics to themselves. Lee Van Cleef had a hard go of it after he got injured. Never much liked Richard Widmark. Gun control freak. McQueen was a conservative Republican. Garner was a liberal democrat.

Lee Marvin as I just watched him this evening in Gorky Park. The uber hot (in this flick ) polish gal does him in. Same gal that was Doc Holiday's gal in Tombstone. What a difference a few years in America will do to a gal.
Lee Marvin, of course:

Lee marvin, just because he used to go big game fishing out from my hometown to the great barrier reef when I was a kid. The news would cover it when he flew in. Suprisingly he wasnt as anti-reporter as he was usually known. Didnt mind doing an interview for the local news.

Yeah, but it was northeast NE. smile
Coburn
Lee Marvin and "older" Coburn. The younger seemed too sissified to me, "the Gene Kelly of Westerns", ha.
