But I have a 50 year old 10/22 Deluxe.
51 year old Remington 581
Welcome to the club and I don’t even have a 10/22 or a 581. Wouldn’t trade where I’m at to be a rich man though. Count me one happy hillbilly.
I have some cool boats and I actually use them.
I'm not a millionaire and never will be. I'm definitely not as "successful" as so many here at the campfire claim to be.
And probably half my guns are older than 50 years old!
If you're worth 2,115 million, are you allowed to participate in the "millionaire" thread?
Me either. Sometimes I envy people who live abroad and worry about the stock market.
More often, I feel blessed to have all my kids and grandchildren within 10 miles of me and a roof over all our heads.
Dan, I remember when that was the only 10/22 on dealer shelves. What a beauty.
But I have a 50 year old 10/22 Deluxe.
Call, and raise you a 1949 Marlin 336SC 30-30.....
You darned sure are a millionaire if it shoots that good. It’s one in a million.
1954-ish Winchester 74
1939-1941 Mossberg No. 50
1950's Marlin 88
All of them will drive tacks. Especially the Marlin, which is super picky with ammo, but very accurate with ammo it likes.
Glad you don't have to be a millionaire to afford a sweet old .22.
But I have a 50 year old 10/22 Deluxe.

Phffft, that's only 72 years old. Here, lemme show you what happens when you add another 100 years to that.
Not A Millionaire
Never will be.
Money is a tool and I use it as such.
Money is building up my place in Arizona so I can escape this Blood Sucking Commyfornia for ever.
My 10/22 Deluxe is only 22 years old. Just a youngster.
But I have a 50 year old 10/22 Deluxe.
Mine is only 43. Its got a old Weaver K4 on it.
Its never shot as good as yours, or it could be the piss poor connection between rifle and ground.
Bought my Ruger 10/22 deluxe in 1976. It would be 45 years old, “if” I hadn’t sold it about 20 years ago. Oldest gun I bought new is a 1974 Rem 700 ADL, 25-06. I rarely shoot it, but killed my first dozen deer with it, and my son killed a few with it. I do have a 1965 vintage Win model 270 pump .22. That model was the first firearm I owned.
I think this one is over 50.

Mine shot poorly when I first owned. Bought it used circa mid ‘90s. Full length bedding and a new trigger...it appreciated both.

The trigger isn't so bad.
Did you bed the whole barrel channel?

Barrel looks like a BullDozer axle.
Nor I, but got a Marlin lever matic 😆
It’s a .50 caliber front stuffer. And accurate. Joker that made it also made sniper rifles for the Union Army.
All you poor whiney losers....after the other thread I remembered, I AM A MILLIONAIRE!
Pinned on the wall next to my fridge is a $50Million bill from Zimbabwe.....
Did you borrow it from Flave 😂
Nor I, but got a Marlin lever matic 😆
Me too.

Best I got, 1949.
I got a lot of 480 ruger components...no gun yet but anyways
Think the 1022 SP was made up to 71.
The DSP then '72?
Nor I, but got a Marlin lever matic 😆
Me too.

I have 2 yellow WW boxes of factory ammo ( had a TC barrel ).
1965 10/22
1957 Win 52
Couldn’t afford a 10-22 so I used a Remington model 510. It made me a better shot than all those 10-22 shooters. I never could understand the reason for continued boating with those damn rifles, 22 ammunition was too expensive.
1957 Win 52
SWEET I have a collector buddy that has an even dozen 52's including 2 sporters,,

I envy him! 52's shoot great.
I will be any day now. Just waiting for that check from Nigeria to be deposited in my account
Did you bed the whole barrel channel?
Yes, and the receiver.
Not a Millionaire neither.......but I do own an original 1873 Winchester chambered in .44/40
I have a 3 band Rem rolling block that I don't know how to date, I should get a chamber cast.
Prolly one of them Spanish versions?
Ranger that somebody tried to make into a bench gun , butt ugly , trigger is pretty much what your stuck with .
But a fellow shot some 250’s with it on a IR50/50 target at fifty yds .
Ugly as Hillary but it shoots good .
I think it’s the one made in Texas .
A fixed 10X Japan Tasco , excellent scope.
Kenneth
1951 Remington 721 in .30-06 that came to me almost free in a 2:1 deal.
JES rebore to 9,3 x 62M
Factory $19/box ammo
I know a guy with more than one model 52, unfired in box.
1951 was a good year...
I dont own a gun that is older than me.
This thread has lots of good pics of really cool guns, thanks!
PeePaw didn’t leave me a co-cola route, farm and a gun collection
😢

But, did he leave ya a field fulla Studebakers and Nash?
😂😂
Utica Savage 219 30-30. No idea of age. It sat on Armslist for a long time. I couldn't take it any more, sent the guy an email, and I owned it the next day. Chamber is pitted and its beat to hell, but I could care less. It shoots just fine, and carries like a light stick. It belonged to a guy from Georgia who bought it new, and used it as his deer rifle up through the 70's. His son ended up with it, and he ended up in St. Paul, and had no idea what to do with the 219. The firing pin is intact, and I have no thoughts of getting rid of it. Apologies for the long winded blather.
A friend of mine, got one of those from his dad when he returned from Vietnam. About two years later, he offed himself with it on his divorced wife’s front porch, with it.
But I have a 50 year old 10/22 Deluxe.
I'll see your 50 year old 10/22 and raise you a 87 year old Model 34 Remington. I once fired a 7/8" 14 shot group at 100 yards with it. I did that by destroying its original value by having it drilled and tapped for a Tasco World Class 6-24X.
I don't think my 2019 Fronteer qualifies as a millionaire's pickup.
There was a 10/22 Deluxe for sale at a gun show back in September. $425 was his asking price. My friend tried to trade him out of it but he said he needed the money.
My M34. Also very accurate.

You musta missed my earlier post.
Not a millionaire either. I have my great grandpa's M94 .30-30 and bullets, powder, and primers.

Fold up retard, I'm putting a 1894 Winchester 1887 on the table. I'll even post a pick of it, something you seem unable to do.
But I have a 50 year old 10/22 Deluxe.
you got me by a couple years Dan, I bought mine somewhere around 1979, paid 89.99 for it.
1947 Remington 81 in 300 Savage
I'm not a millionaire either but I do have peace of mind and that's priceless.
My 10-22 cost me 150 dollars new. And I worked for grandpa all summer to afford it.
1.50 an hour.
Its worth a lot to me.
I gave dad a M70 Winchester from the 30's. Its worth a lot to him.
