My son put me on it a couple of years ago. I deleted my account over a year ago and haven't gone back. They still send me emails notifying me of friends and family's birthdays. That was the only draw for me. Once they get your information, they won't ever let it go. Daughter in law lives on FB.

Family placed all sorts of pressure on me to establish an account, and I finally did about 5 or six years ago, but I only participated a couple of time. I haven't signed in in over five years. If I remembered my password I'd close it down.

Don’t know exactly how people become associated on there , but police infiltrate the friend system and then set back and watch the people make incriminating statements .
While setting in the police station a couple years ago the investigating officer told me and showed me stuff , one of the guys they popped over one of my guns had a picture of himself posing with my gun and a buck he killed.
Then later had a post that he was offering 100.00 reward for who stole it from him .
