If there're leaving the park...more will end up in surrounding states
here's a recent Utah story

They don't want their precious wolves shot? Then they need to keep them inside the park. Maybe they can spray paint them orange.
What they really need is ten foot chain link around the entire park, with cement eight feet deep underneath. And they need it in 1970.

Isn't that what Invisible Fence is for? Just, string a wire around the park, plug it in (to solar panels preferably), add the IF feature to the GPS collars, and voila! problem solved!
maybe joe & the hoe will build a fence to keep the wolves in the park
Two things.
Why are they roaming out of the park? They are eating themselves out of food. Too much pack density.
Why do they think the park ever supported that great a number of wolves in the past? Elk were never as common at higher altitudes as they have become after civilization pushed the off the prairie.
Osky
The idiots at Yahoo act like it's a bad thing to thin out the wolf population. Why did they leave the park? Could it be they ate everything and had to go shopping for groceries elsewhere?
Relocate them to central Park and the bay Bridge Park.

Just measured, central Yellowstone to N. Utah - 165 miles, what would stop wolves from going into Utah? Nothing.
I posted pictures of varying sizes wolf tracks at a desert mule deer kill on LRH long range hunting site back in 2007 deep SW Idaho, Owyhee Desert, measurement to NE California - 200 miles of wilderness. Game Wardens are trained to not admit such animals exit in places where they most certainly do.
A wolf from the Boise Pack was kill south of Pendleton, Oregon in 2006, another east of there same year.
Game cam picture of a pair of wolves NW of Okanogan, Washington in 2005.
Husband and wife took pictures of a wolf several miles from Mt. St. Helen, WA. ? early mid 2002/3/4ish can't remember.
Wolves are reported north of me in Missouri, credible sources have heard them and seen their tracks.
My younger brother Tony & I saw a wolf near Texarkana, Ar. in the late 70's, saw a black/grey belly wolf at my hunting lease near Ebro, Florida 18 miles north of Panama City Beach, Fl. 2015, eating on a big tough boar hog too nasty to skin/eat. Member Dave Semmit killed the hog.

Said it before there are Wolves in 40+ states
Yep, Duck deputies denied mountain lions in ND for years.
I guess Michigan muskrat marshals deny wolves being in the southern part of the state.
So to me if something doesn’t exist and it gets shot where it doesn’t exist, no harm no faul. As long it ain’t protected…
If they aren't in Yellowstone why do they call them Yellowstone wolves?
Never mind, I know why.
As always, the comments are enlightening regarding the tofu set.
I think those wolves are looking for someplace with lesser competition and easier chow to hunt!
