I'd recorded the games yesterday with the new Amazon Fire Recast device. Technically, everything came out hunky-dory, but the games themselves were not all that great.

OK. KC vs Denver was passable.

Cincy vs Cleveland? Dang! I gave up after the first quarter, and went to the basement to do some gunsmithing, leaving KYHillChick to watch ol' Toothlessberger do his swan song. I'll come back at 1700 and start watching the late games.

I refuse to watch a live game anymore. It is just too much of a waste of time if I can't fast forward past the commercials-- takes about an hour of drekken out of each game. The Amazon Fire Recast has a feature-- if you hit the forward button on the remote, it skips 30 seconds. If you do it right at the end of the down, it resumes play just before they hike it again.

I grew up in Atlanta and I watched the first game the Falcons ever played, an exhibition game in 1965 at Atlanta Stadium. The Falcons lost. I was joined at the hip for 3 decades with the worst team in the NFL. Now I moved to North Carolina, I guess I'm supposed to root for the Panthers. The Panthers are the worst team and have lost their last 7 games in a row. Good God.
