From a block of Aluminum to a finished receiver in 3 hours:

antelope sniper;
Good evening my cyber friend, I hope the weather you're all getting is the weather you need and that all in your world are well.

One of the amazing bits of technology is how CNC machinery has come down in price and yet can do more and more complex tasks.

When we got our first Biesse Rover 16 in the cabinet shop in the late '90's it was a huge beast, had proprietary software and an instruction manual written in Italian/English sort of...

All of my hands on CNC experience is in the cabinet industry with CNC overhead routers, but I can wrap my head around what that little CNC is capable of and frankly it was only a matter of time.

Another case of the market being there and waiting for someone to make the product they've been waiting for.

Very cool stuff there for sure. Thanks for posting it.

All the best to you all.

Dwayne

I can see "clubs" forming to share cost/knowledge as well as raw material purchasing. The government can ban and regulate a lot of things but knowledge isn't one of them. Yet.
