Don't believe everything you read. They screwed up big time, my daughter was told she qualified and was able to stay on unemployment. Now they tell her she has to pay it back. They had a bunch of unqualified people filling in that caused this fiasco.

Now you know why the Build Back Better bill was $1,7 trillion. Bailing out Blue states is expensive.

I never heard if they discovered where the money went or blamed it on a "accounting error" but under Bill Klintons reign there were millions missing in the funds collected from taxes on firearms, hunting and fishing licenses, etc. that were reserved for fish and wildlife use.

IRGC, HzB, and lots of foreigners took the States for all they could...Same thing happens all the time with Medicare and Medicaid, child day care, etc., etc.. Free money for our enemies and organized crime. Just as Tammany Hall and its successors were riddled with corruption so is the modern political system. It is just now the media organizations on both sides have bought into the corruption. Beck is the closest to realizing what is going on, but doesn't want to believe that the whole thing is dead.

Hell even when DB got caught laundering billions nothing happened to them. The same money laundering is going on today as Citi got caught again. No repercussions if you went to the right schools and make the right donations. Unfortunately soon, .gov will probably need the vast internal security branch of their dreams. Someone on the far right or far left is going to come to power, when the Feds paper pyramid ever collapses. It is going to get very ugly.

Current Situation in Michigan Unemployment Agency (UA)

Our granddaughter works a seasonal job from April to October here in the Upper Peninsula. She applied for Unemployment on November 1st. She received a determination that she was eligible for unemployment, and received identity verification forms. This form required her to submit copies of the front and back of her driver's license, the front and back of her birth certificate, and a photo of her holding the driver's license, which she promptly did.

After two weeks with no response, she made contact with UA, and was told that " Every identity verification form has to be approved by a supervisor and we don't have enough supervisors, and they have a lot of other work to do. The identity forms are reviewed in the order that they were submitted, so don't call and pester us, it won't do any good."

She now has 10 weeks of certified, approved benefits waiting in her account, but no money has been disbursed, pending the supervisor approval of her identity verification form.

Sounds like the petulant children working at Michigan UA, got there fingers smacked for handing out $8.5 Billion to scammers, and now are slow walking legitimate benefit payments to persons who really need them.
