I remember middle and HS in the 90’s.

You were the cool mofo if you had a hooters or HR T-shirt.

Even cooler if it was from foreign lands.

I’ve been to a couple hooters. I like the wings.

Only one HR i think. The short lived Hard Rock Choctaw at the Choctaw Indian Res.

HR even still do restaurants? Or just hotel and casinos now?

Hooters went to hell when they had to start lowering their standards. Last time I went to one all of the waitresses looked like Jenny Craig "before" models.

Went in one in Evansville. When the waitress came over I asked when she was due. She said a week ago.

I used to collect Hard Rock T shirts. Think I still have one from Moscow, that I bought there.

First i heard of Twin Peaks was 7-8 years ago maybe.

I went to one in Tulsa many moons ago, and I'm pretty sure it was slutty pirate hooker night. No complaints were uttered.

A buddy of mine had his Hooters waitress water break while taking their order.
She just kinda rolled with it, got their order put in and then beat feet to the hospital.

Went into a Hooters once and got throwed out.

Apparently ordering a large glass of milk is frowned upon.

Went to the one in Lafayette after a wheeling day at Badlands offroad park.
Tired and beat up.....my kids wanted to go there (oldest maybe jr high ).

Bouncing boobers tried to get me to buy the kidsT shirts.
So I asked ....got any that say "my mom died in a fiery car crash" ?

She quit bothering us after that.
Funny, learned later she knew my kids mom ( my ex ).

Hooters was a thing and I've been to a few but nothing super memorable.

Hard Rock - as a younger Eric Clapton nut, I always wanted to go but again - nothing memorable.

I grew up/lived in an NFL town and later an NBA town - the whole "sports bar" thing is kinda lost on me. Same goes for Buffalo Wild Wings.

They're all relatively expensive these days so if I'm going to dinner - I want a dive bar with a greasy burger or I want something a bit more high end - aged steaks, Old Fashioneds etc.

The Hooters in Lakeland FL has pretty good oysters.

Back in the 80’s and 90’s being a hooters girl meant something great. Now since all the women’s lib bullschit it’s frowned on. Society as a whole is in the [bleep]. A well built woman outta be able to bring me wings and beer and be rewarded.

Last hooters i went to was the now closed JXN, MS location.

I’ve eaten wings at several Hooter’s locations over the last 25 years and have determined that the quality of the food and the help varies far and wide and has, on average, declined as time goes on.
The last one I ate at was Texarkana back in’19. The food, the service, and talent were unremarkable at best, and I ain’t that hard to please on any of those levels.

My wife likes the Hard Rock T-shirts so we usually eat a burger or chicken nachos and drink a few beers there when traveling. She has gear from Amsterdam, Cape Town, Pretoria, Tokyo, Narita, Osaka, Bahrain, Rome, Paris, Munich, Siem Reap, New Delhi, Prague, Dubai, Cologne and Bangkok. Had to eat a water buffalo burger in New Delhi since beefs not on the menu and was drinking beer in Amsterdam when Prince died and they played a big medley of his songs while we were there.

Last time I went to Twin Peaks was last Halloween. Waitress I kid you not was wearing a thong, a bikini top, and mouse ears with whiskers painted on her face. It was great.

Never cared much for sports bars or theme bars masquerading as restaurants. One of my adult sons had a thing going with a Hooters waitress out in Arizona back in the mid-90's. He met her traveling from Memphis to San Diego, PCS when he was in the Navy. Apparently she'd recently been Miss Budweiser 19?? . I guess things were hot and heavy for a while, alternating weekend commutes Phoenix and San Diego until he met the girl he ended up marrying.

As a broke-ass college student I would go to the Hooters in Lexington occasionally on Mondays for ten cent chicken wings and beer, and the view. As a broke-ass married man I don't go any more.

I remember years ago when they made the dancers cover any tattoos with band-aids, now they have so much ink it would take a sheet to cover it all. Never saw a woman that I thought looked more beautiful because of the grafiti she chose to adorn her body with. Nowadays no area of the body is left un-inked, some of them go seriously overboard, and some of the material is vulgar.

One of the most successful restaurateurs in Marina del Rey once confided in me that, when his restaurant was a "Hooters", he had an older couple come in for dinner, one night, and the woman asked if "they could be seated away from the strippers". He realized that was not the image he wanted and now owns perhaps the best and most successful restaurant in MdR: "Tony P's".

Both Hooters locations in Calgary AB closed a few years ago due to lack of customers. Can't quite grasp that issue as the girls in them were actually quite attractive. Good food too.
When we lived in Edmonton, we used to go the one in West Edmonton Mall on our anniversary, we always had a good time. My wife has a sense of humour for sure.

The Hooters by me is generally standing-room-only. I have no idea why. I think their wings suck and look like they came off a pigeon. Haven't been in there in 10 years, probably.

I took my step-nephson to the B-Dubs for his graduation dinner. I got some of the Nuclear Habanero wings. Man I had the for real super red hot fire engine diarrhea for about 3 days.

I never understood it to be honest. Either I want a strip bar where I see titties or I want good wings - I don't want "almost" for either one. That was my last time going.

We did the Hard Rock T-shirt thing back in my early 20's. I remember in Myrtle Beach at one time they had a Hard Rock and a Planet Hollywood in close proximity of each other. The local casino in town is now a Hard Rock place. I forget its even there.

What I want to know is who the hell does call in/take out orders at Hooters?

Guys at work wanted to go , so we knocked off early and went .
They figured on having a good time with me as they were half my age .
I was around 50 or so at the time , still solid .
So we make our orders and the gal is quite a looker and the guys are making remarks about her and me thinking it would be far fetched and for some reason thinking it was bugging me .
I just set back smiling and politely taking in the scenery .
She brings our food out and I get served last with a small wait .
The guys are having some fun and here she comes with my mussels and sets them on the table and says , honey can you scoot your chair back a little ? I smiled and said sure , she turns around and sets in my lap crossing her legs to add to the picture .
You could have poured a drink in all their mouths .
She proceeded to shell my mussels and feed them to me one at a time , chit chatting and laughing as if they weren’t there .
Taking her time and very tenderly wiping my lips gave me a kiss on the cheek and asked if she could get me anything else .
When she got up and took the buckets They we’re looking at me and one said WTF .
I laughed and left a nice tip .

Lots of cold beer and wings at Hooters in Roanoke, Richmond and Daytona Beach in the 1990’s at the Cup races.
