The commentary was pretty darn funny.....no best of reels of that though. Have to watch full episodes I guess. My dad LOVED this show, would laugh to hyperventilation.

Called em the Fuggin Japs. Hell he was a hoot to watch, watching the show.
That was a really funny show, and you always had to laugh at the made up team names like Porn Stars vs League of Morality or such. The commentary was great. Still though, my vote would be for Cheers. They had great writers and great characters. My vote for funniest sitcom. 7mm
I don't watch a lot of tv so I haven't seen some of the shows mentioned but I'll mention four in order of preference for GOAT: 1. Gunsmoke 2. Rockford Files 3. Corner Gas 4. Red Green Show (honorable mention to the black and white episodes of Andy Griffith)
The common denominator in all these shows was the fact they simply wanted to entertain you. They had no agenda to enlighten your politics or personal beliefs. They required no emotional investment . The actors did not take themselves so seriously and were not performing just to win an academy award. The Andy Griffith show contained a lot of positive examples of human relationship whether with family or friends. From that standpoint alone I think it is hard to find a better show.

If a conservative likes "All in the Family" he fails to understand that the program was written for and by ultra conservatives as a sarcastic rip on conservatives.

Rat Patrol. For it's smooth flawless acting, show scenarios, and highly accurate authenticity of equipment in the show. ππππππ
Haha.
Dude getting KOβd in the intro when they jump that jeep.
Someone found the vid last year showing dude doing a face plant into the receiver of a Ma Deuce. I been lookiing for it. Cant find that exact one in the intro scene ones I looked at. Ones I just looked at have the 2 jeep jump but neither of the gunners kiss the Ma Deuce. I know that face plant version exist just cant find it.
I bet that stuntmans bell was ringing for months from that.. π€ͺπ€ͺπ€ͺπππ

Even Carol O'Conner was a commie whore.
Yes. I "get it". But, it was still funny. I was 17 in 1969 or 1970 when it came out. I wasn't as in tune with the "politics" of the show until later. Maybe you can say the same for Married with Children but it was still funny.

Been watching Corner Gas. The episode about the size of the cell phones was a HOOT! It's a reverse big dick contest.
The Partridge Family on Friday nights Bugs Bunny/Road Runner/Foghorn Leghorn cartoons Saturday morning Hee Haw Saturday night Abbot and Costello Sunday morning
After dozens of movies and TV spin-offs which they are still making today, it would have to be Star Trek the original series...Nothing even comes close...
