I'm beginning to think that I have contracted the Omicron[or something]
I had the Covid late 2019-early 2020[the Covid that drug on and on and on and kicked my azz..]

Started feeling 'stuffy' Monday morning.
Felt progressively worse through yesterday then it leveled off.

What is bringing it all back is when I go to bed, the long nights of cramps, body aches and general restlessness.
At some point last night I awoke to my my fingers on one hand being all curled up and I couldn't straighten them back out without using my other hand to do it[that hand is still a bit stiff this morning].
Add in the 15-20 various cramps-feet, legs, shoulders, back and it makes for a pretty restless night.

My most vivid memories of the original bout with Covid is the very long nights where you wanted to go to bed but also knew how it was going to go.

Anyone else experience crap like this?

Man, I'm sorry you've going through that. My bout with covid gave me severe crams in my calves. I was bedridden for 9 days.

Hope you past it FB

Back in 19/20 when I had it getting off of the couch to take a whizz was a monumental chore. I could do it maybe twice a day and then I was whooped. That lasted for about a week.

Got a friend in the hospital gradually losing the battle.

Quack MD foot dr had him on steroid injections for plantar fasciitis a few mo and the other foot went bad. I told him it sounded like peripheral neuropathy to me and to get in and get tested. He did. Sure enough, PN. Had him get BS. 500.

At prostate sx a few years ago no BS problem. From steroid injections? Told me the biotch almost killed him on the phone.

They put him in the hospital and knocked it down to 90. He felt like crap a few days. Said it was due to lower BS at first. Tested COVID positive.

Now hes slipping under. Great hunter and gun collector. Tall, slim, hard working and strong.

Maybe she did kill him.

Medical "practice" at his expense.

"Taking ASA?"

No idea what this is?

I take Zinc/D3/C daily
This whatever I have is nothing compared to what I[we] went through 2 years ago, but the restless nights bring back memories.

As Big Jim said, maybe it's just a flu bug or common cold, hellifIknow

I just had a bout with whatever variant is floating around, Delta or Omicron I have no idea. I also had a bacterial upper respiratory infection to go along with it. Healthy, no meds or comorbidities, early 40s. The first 5-7 days were awful, I could not sleep no matter what so I dreaded night time. I really think the lack of sleep and mental anguish was worse than anything physical. It's almost 3 weeks after my initial symptoms and I still get weak and light headed with any real physical activity. I went from 200lb to 185lb in a matter of about 10 days and I'm just now getting my appetite back. Never lost taste but I did lost smell which is coming back very slowly. I'm not completely done yet as I still have some chest congestion I keep spitting up, but I am much better than just a week ago. I've never been sick like that before and don't ever wish to again. About day 5 I did self administer Ivermectin for 3 days straight. I can't say that it made a huge improvement but I did seem to start turning the corner afterwards...could be placebo or could be something to it so take it as you wish.

The loss of lung capacity is real.
After the initial bout[Alpha?] in 19/20 it took a full year+ to get anywhere near original lung capacity.

Lot of docs treating it rec 20,000 iu D when sick and jump Zinc S to 220 mg also.

Seems Lactoferrin and benedryl do a number on the virus if used within the first 5 days. NAC 1200 (2 caps am 2 in pm)mg bid but consult your dr if on blood thinners..

Elderberry syrup or caps and oregano caps shortens viral infections

4000 C

Selinium

Some say licorice helps shorten viral inf.

Viagra

Safest to probably get Ab and steroid injection, regeneron, etc.,
