Been up a while, working on talking points and proposed legislation, less interruptions when the wife and grandkids are asleep, the phone does not ring much at this hour. Prepping for two more legislator interviews today, no rest for rabble-rousers!

Got a great nights sleep 11:30-5:30.

Worked 3rd shift the first 2 weeks of the month, and it screwed me
up bad. Most nights it's midnight to 3. Then I can't sleep.

Good morning early risers. I've had my first cup of coffee. Temperature outside is -15 C. Wind chill is -21 C. Another day to stay indoors. I'm getting too old to be wandering around outdoors in this weather.

Morning All, another chilly one here but clear as they come. put up a new LED over the work bench yesterday to make projects easier.... found a closeout that was cheaper than replacing the ballasts in the four foot tube lights...

Morning. -11 here and sipping on some coffee as the wood stove gets cranking back up. Need to replace the carburetor on the wood splitter but that may wait until tomorrow when things are going to be a bit warmer. Thinking some reloading may be a good plan B today.

I just started my vehicle so it's warm when I get in. Head out to get something to eat and fountain drinks. Wife and I like those better than coffee. I'm not even out of bed, the app to start your car from the phone is awful nice. Especially from the church pew.

For what seems like the 764th day in a row, have few to no plans for the day. Oh, wait...thanks to Covidiocy it actually HAS been about 764 days of near solitary confinement. Damn. And still about two more months until golf and fishing time again.

Good morning to all. Doing my Sat. morning routine of doing my laundry and having the 20 oz. mug of instant coffee. Weather forecast calling for a high of 23 F today but it's still sitting at -4 F. Got over a foot of snow out there and have been on the snow shoes twice this week. Taking the 9 year old step grand daughter out snow shoeing tomorrow afternoon so she can use the snow shoes I got her for Christmas after she outgrew the kiddie snow shoes she had. In a way I enjoy a long cold winter because that's what really makes you appreciate all the glories of it turning into spring in a few months.

Morning, coffee brewed working on the first cup. Slept 4 hours yesterday after having a kidney stone blasted. Did not fall asleep last night till 2:00 up at 7:00 but feeling great. And its a little cooler here at 45

Was going to gun show today but I ain’t going 80 miles in the snow for that .

Headed up to SE north Carolina yesterday to help old folks deal with this winter blast. Started out as light rain late yesterday afternoon, turned to sleet around dark, then snow from midnight to past 4 am......was up periodically checking that out while making yellow snow. Anyhow we dont see much snow so had to sit up and enjoy......

Everything is closed over 3" of snow.

Feeling better all ready.

I just got up and made my 1st cup of Costco French Roast. Then spilled part of it! I see it is 22 degrees outside and the snow is all gone except a few left over piles.

Morning... rare snow here on the Bay... maybe 3"... inside day probably.

Hade a pot of coffee by 7:00. Went out about 8;00 seen 6 or 7 deer out in back field just stopped and looked then seen something pure white thought it was one of my neighbor's goats. But to my old eyes out stepped out nice size deer about 250 yards we looked at each other for about 2min. I just stood there thinking wow no one will believe this. Wife was still in bed no way I was going to wake her. So will put out trail cameras today. Just stuck in my head. This is the third time I have seen white deer in my lifetime. Anybody else seen any?
