What's a fairly clean one bringing these days?
2 years ago I bought a 222 for 400, then this year I was offered a 22-250 with a youth and full sized stock for 350 and I made the guy take 400, then a couple months ago I was looking for one in 308 and a guy offered me one for 290, because it had a cut down stock and he said didn't shoot well. A member here sold me a full stock so I have just over 400 in that gun, and it shoots great with my reloads.
The cut down stocks will work for the grandkids when they get a bit older, all three shoot well and not trashed.
I was offered a couple others for 500 and over but I didn't bite.

$500 or more if they are in good condition.
Crosnoe gun in Cape Girardeau, Missouri has a very clean one, scoped but sans sights they are asking $675 for. I always consider them upper threshold of reasonable.
The best cheap bolt gun ever made. Gunwriters panned it. Had to eat their words. I've had three, a 22-250, a 308 and a 243. All sub moa with basic stock ammo. Still searching for the grail 30-30.
Sold a mint 308 Carbine for $800 w/ a box of ammo

There was a clean one for sale on Accurate shooter very recently. I saw it cycle through the classifieds for about a week with no takers at $800. Don’t know if it sold since but you might check if interested.
I sold a really nice one at the Boise gun show last spring for $300 or $350 I can't remember. Afterwards I realized that was probably too cheap but I wasn't using it and didn't want to leave the show with all the guns I came with.

I have bid several to 500 or 600 on Gunbroker and not won any. All were 223, 22 250, or 243
You can't even buy a single shot 22 for less than $350 around here in the pawn shops. One shop had an old ADL 243 with a shot out barrel and beat up stock priced at $800. It's gone now.

I was at a gun show in Des Moines yesterday and every 788 I saw was $500 to $800. I think the $800 was for a 22-250. None of them were pristine. They all looked like working class guns.
