After our ice storm last year, I got a 2KW one for emergencies. It worked the one time I started it. China.

I borrowed a Champion wood splitter for a day or so 2 or months ago.

The worst piece of equipment I have ever used... It had less than 5 hours on it.

I have a 3500 watt Champion dual fuel generator and have been happy with it, though I rarely use it. I've only run it on propane and the only complaint is how loud it is, but otherwise I have no complaints.

A buddy bought one and it had a really small fuel tank. Would only run 5 hours.

My Champ isn't dual fuel but it runs very well. It's a 4kw which is bigger than I need but I had to get that big to get a 240V.

I have a couple of champion generators, both 4KW. One is dual fuel and it works well on gas or propane. Both of mine will run on gas for 6 hours at 3/4 load and 8 or more 50% load or less. Propane is maybe a little more fuel efficient but nothing significant to impress over gas. Both are electric start and one has remote electric start - work well. They are noisy compared to my two honda's but the price difference helps me tolerate the noise of the champions.

Frankly, in the price range of the champion, my Troy Built 5KW has been the best as far as needing maintenance or after sitting a while without be started. I will continue to buy champion as needed.

Been running a Champion 3500/4000 for over 10 years it's been good to me. Thinking about upgrading for more watts and dual feed and it will be a Champion. I also have a Champion 212cc front tine tiller and it's got plenty power, what I like is the reverse makes it easier to handle.

I have the small 1750 watt version, to ensure that we can run my wife's oxygen concentrator in an emergency. I think that the 3 20 pound propane tanks I have should let us ride out just about any forseeable power outage in our suburban area. Can't vouch for its durability, but it starts, runs, and makes electricity and it doesn't make much noise.

I've used several Champions that me and my friends have, and I think they are a good deal for the price range. I've never had a real problem except one had a fuel shut off that went bad and I had to replace it. The company sent me one for no charge. I just had to change the oil before I used it.

I have a 7500 dual fuel Champion, but only since 2020. Has worked well through several ice storms and hurricanes.

i have a champion 1750/1400 that i put a 5 gallon fuel tank on that i only use in winter if the power is out to run my pellet stove. it has worked great. it will run 4 1/2 days on 5 gallons of gas.

i did buy a champion 3100w a few years back that was near new to use on my camper. it would not start my AC . it was just out of warranty and i called champion and they said either the computer in it was bad or the carb. they sent me both parts free . after installing both it still would not run my AC.

I had been running my camper on a 2250w generator and it ran the AC fine. i couldnt figure out why it wouldnt work.

So far so good with mine. Not a dual fuel, but a 5Kw inverter gennie that keeps my electronics and smart fridge happy. My old Troy Built (25 years old) still works but the fridge didn't like it. Wouldn't cool even though the display was lit. I have a transfer panel to keep essentials going in an outage. It is quieter than the old Troy Built, but not by much. Certainly isn't a Honda, but it didn't cost what a Honda does either.

My son in law has one. It's one VERY NOISY sob!
If you like LOUD you'll love it.

We bought a 9700 dual fuel and ran it after hurricane. put 55 hours on it on propane. haven't used gasoline.
Have a smaller 5500 watts gasoline we ran about 50 hours also. No problems.

Good product. Keeps my food cooling appliances, servers and EMP devices running.

I think just about anyone who tries to run camper AC off a generator has had issues, unless they go big right out of the gate..

They are highly rated in every place I've looked.

I recently bought a 10KW Generac, mainly because it's made here; Champion would have been fine too, just made in Chinkland.

So far with half dozen uses, the Generac has been fine.
